in fairness she gets radioactive lung ebola in the first area, all the other badasses were caught off guard at yamantau just like her, and despite her illness she held her own pretty well in the Caspian, when she was actually doing stuff. She just took a less active role, like the other side characters, because there were fewer scripted sequences for the npcs to do unique stuff.
