My first Metroid game and by far my favorite.

I love this game. My best time is about an hour. I didn't expect to learn anything new from this run, but I didn't know about the speed booster tricks they used in Brinstar and Tourian. Great run!

+xepheratu if its like that wouldnt they ban all the hacks of pokemon out there? (which they still are around) Unlikely to ban just AM2R and not every hack/remake of nintendo games

Not trying to sound like a terrible fanboy, but, AM2R is a "remaster" of an existing video game (Metroid 2). It's not a brand new fan game or anything. Still scummy though

They took down a game that they have COMPLETE RIGHTS TO? Wow, worse than EA, I hope they go bankrupt so i don't get to see more good games. Jesus Christ. Taking down AM2R wasn't smart, but it doesn't mean they are desperate, or that they should go bankrupt. You take it way too far and too personally.

I feel like most off the crowd doesnt know what's going on in the hard segments except for the dude's at the front. They seem so un enthused

They usually upload the raw vod asap to watch after the marathon and then replace certain videos after they fixed some audio/technical/whatever issues.

Kirby, I appreciate your expertise on some of my favorite games and your contributions to GDQ but your commentary is really hard for me to follow. You're saying a lot of helpful and interesting things but you're also speaking very quickly and not pausing between thoughts.
