Naan is a flat bread like a tortilla. But we Indians don't combine rice and bread like people do in Mexican food like tacos. You can have rice and butter chicken/curry OR you can gorge on naan and butter chicken/curry. But we NEVER do naan and rice and butter chicken/curry all at the same time.

10:18 Yeah Indian food is cooked in such a way that you will love everything including things you don't like. That is why we have so many vegetarians in India. We are satisfied with the veggies that we don't crave for non-veg. There are plenty of non-vegetarians too but yeah if you want to be a vegetarian or even a vegan, Indian food is heavenly.

Indian Alphonso mangoes are really sweet and juicy..lassi means yogurt.. The brown chutney with samosas was tamarind and the green one was mint chutney...Indian food also has the best veg options too..try paneer ( cottage cheese) next time...We Indians are too welcoming that's why the British stayed and looted for 200 years and finally we had to kick them out😅...

Also, take bite sized pieces of bread instead of cutting such huge portions as it becomes difficult to eat. Fold it and scoop it into the curry. Indians never use spoons (unless it is for dessert). We always eat with only hands. There is a correct technique for doing that. Like how she did it at 14:35. That is exactly how you scoop bread with curry and eat. 😅

Also samosas (some-o-saas) and Khush will be - khoo-sh not cush 😬! Any bread or rice is the vessel for any gravy...so you dont need to have the naan/roti along with the rice...its either of those with the gravy! Love the passion for this...Khush definitely made you guys a meal that made you happy too hahaha!!

Tear naan is smaller pieces and use it as a spoon to scoop up the gravy or other things. We don't usually eat rice & naan together. We mix gravy with rice, and then eat it with hands or spoon. Eating rice with hands is different art 😂 So you can eat rice with spoon. Btw, whatever you ate... were just Punjabi food (From an Indian state Punjab). But definitely the best way to get introduced to Indian food.

My favorite Indian dish of all time is one I've only ever found in one restaurant, in St. Petersburg, Russia of all places. It's called murgh dil pasend, it's a deeply flavorful chicken curry made from cashews. It's a smaller regional dish, so it's even hard to find recipes online. Luckily, the chef was willing to teach me how it's made, so now I can make it at home. I did check the Twisted Indian menu, and I think you should try lamb tikka masala next. It's amaaaaazing. And if you ever find an Indian place with Chicken 65, get it!!! Trust me!!!

Curries are eaten either with rice or with naan/parantha/roti. But, as some may say that taste is subjective, so you should try eating it with pizza or hamburger. However, the correct way is either with rice or naan. Also, butter chicken tastes better with naan, not rice. Did someone say that taste is subjective? Good. You may eat it with salad or noodles. A little education is always helpful.

11:42 yeah that is not how we eat. Haha. That is Americanized version of eating Indian food. We never mix carbs (rice) with bread (Naan/Roti/Chapati/Kulcha etc). Never ever. Mixing rice and bread is a big no no. Rice + curry or Rice + Dal is perfect in itself. Bread + Curry is perfect in itself. When you mix the two, you don't get the true flavours as the rice hasn't soaked the curry properly (just coated) while the bread's taste/texture is mingled with rice's taste/texture. It is a weird mix. So don't follow what most vloggers in the West do. They get most of it wrong. 😂😂😂

My favorite Indian food is chili chicken... chicken tikka... mango lassi... but their sauce iare also really good and garlic nan bread you also have to try their desserts aswell 👌🫶👌

You eat the butter chicken on a plate with the rice and you mix a portion of rice with some chicken and sauce. You the scoop up the mixture with you hand or use a spoon and fork to put it in you mouth. The Nan is used to dip in the curry or you can also use a piece and break off a piece of chicken and sauce and scoop that up with your hand and eat it together. You don't make a taco or wrap with the curry and rice.

As a Indian I think - butter chicken is for nun ( cause butter chicken is little sweeter side) for rice order some - chicken or lamb curry 😁😁
