I like this. I bought it blind. Its nice. Its strong. It was in expensive at 8 dollars. I do three sprays. Very worthwhile.

I've purchased a bottle...saleswoman suggested it..had no clue...done research on it..had alot of positive comments...out of all the options I brought it home... crazy lol...thought it was in this error learned it's a classic..it works ..might stick what I know buy another

Just catching up with this one. I wore this all through the 1980's after my Aramis period of the 1970's was over. Like Chanel Pour Monsieur, it feels like it completes a business suit. Some describe it as Old Spice on steroids and indeed, it's a very powerful fragance. Even the aftershave projects nicely. You can now pick up the EA Fragrances gift set of the 4 oz cologne/aftershave for about US $15 here in the USA. It may be a cologne, but it's as powerful as an EDP. This is one of the few fragrances that Elizabeth Arden has done justice to. Another classy one that Paul Sebastian released and discontinued decades ago was called V.S.O.P. That was a wonderful scent as well. Btw, I love the bottle design. The atomizer screws out and the bottle can be re-used when finished. I'm going to put some Old Spice in there as the US "Classic" version is in a plastic bottle.

Excellent review! I've fallen in love with several Classic fragrance over the past 2-3 years such as Vintage Kouros, Antaeus, Maxim's Pour Homme, Ho Hang Club and many, many more. Unfortunately, some just strike me as smelling dated/old such as Azzaro Pour Homme, Lagerfeld Classic, Obsession, Eternity and many more. Moreover, this once kinda scares me because I didn't like the other PS fragrances I've smelled along with the fact you associated it with Obsession. Regardless, I'll have to try this one because it's not a blind-buy even though it's ridiculously inexpensive. Enjoyed!

Excellent review, Matt. I have always thought this is in a similar vein as Obsession as they're both sweet, spicy orientals. I also enjoy Obsession more than PS, but the vintage version of PS is very well blended and smells very comforting in the drydown. I have not received one compliment wearing PS, but received many while wearing their other classic scents "Brownstone" and "V.S.O.P." It's a shame they were discontinued as they were leagues above PS, but they just didn't know how to market them at the time. From time to time Brownstone will pop up on Ebay, but it's really rare and a very sexy scent - There's something about it that women really love! PS is fine, but in my humble opinion, pales in comparison to V.S.O.P. and Brownstone...

Scent does not stay very long on my body, even in the summer. Musk, tonka bean, oakmoss and amber suits me the best. With that in mind, I put three or four sprays, and in five minutes the mind-numbing, "Too much cologne..." wears off. I know that people are off-put by the packaging, and I accept that. But what I really want is how it smells on my body, not how it looks on my dresser. I know that this fragrance is suited for fall/winter scent, but I wear it in the summer. Stetson I wear in the fall and winter. I'm not a rich man, I know it's a drugstore cologne, but PS suits me fine.

yes PS and Obsession are similar, I like both. I hear Obsession parfum womens version is better than the men version, I think I will buy that

i really like this one , mines a splash only , i have to put it in a 5ML decant for a sprayer to wear it
