Thank you for another fine video. That Lens have a very nice size, I wish for more Lenses like that, just in a higher quality. I think today, there a so many different compact Sony Cameras and a huge amount of Sony E-mount Lenses that MFT Cameras/Lenses of which many have grown, there is no reason to get a MTF camera today. I have ben using the Zeiss Loxia Distagon 21mm 2.8 for street photography, I even sometimes have been using the Sony 14mm 1.8 GM Lens for street photography. When I used my Haselblad 500C/M and 2000 FC I found that shooting from about hip level with the waist level finder was often ideal. So now with my Sony Cameras I often dip on my knee to take photos.

I just got the Viltrox 20mm delivered today! I own GM & Sigma. This is my first Viltrox (or Chinese) lenses. I love the initial reviews. It's a steal at this price and balances well on my ZV-E1.

I recently added two lenses to my Sony kit: Samyang 35mm f2.8 and Samyang 24mm f2.8. Both smaller and cheaper than many MFT alternatives. MFT size and cost advantage is getting smaller and smaller to say the least. Samyang also has an 18mm with same aperture, more expensive than this Viltrox, that I would pick over this one because it will resell much easier.

I'm not prejudice about lenses and Viltrox has been coming out with bangers since their first lens and man you seen the 50mm 1.8 lens?!!!!??? Firstly thank you for this video. Will You stay longer in Malaysia? You should have mentioned that there is also a Nikon Z mount version of this lens. The so far seen tests stated a relatively good resolution around the focused area, but a very poor elsewhere. And I noticed that the stillsvare very much morecontrasty and darker than the video frames.

Thanks. I was in KL for 2.5 months. My experience is that this lens is surprisingly good value and I have not noticed very poor sharpness.

Of course there is vignetting especially wide open. This is a budget lens and super wides always vignette more or less. So, it’s from the lens, I did not add any.

Hi Matti, i've already preordered it 3 weeks ago, when it was being announced. 149 bucks, small size, ATM AF drive, 52mm filtersize, what could go wrong for this asking price? It doesn't need to be perfect. It's a fun lens, and great for that, what it is.

I would have it around the 5th dec, matti...since i bought it via Rollei. :) But it's an excellent value, indeed. Viltrox should create more focal lengths, of that same size & budget options.@@mattisulanto

Привет из России Matti Sulanto! Мне нравятся больше ваши прогулки по городу с системами Olympus XZ-1, Ricoh GR IIIx, чем c Sony Viltrox 20mm F2.8. Полнокадровая Sony - это вообще не для улицы. Для уличной стрит фотографии, именно нужны фотоаппараты типа Olympus XZ-1, Ricoh GR IIIx, ведь они маленькие, легкие, удобные в использовании и главное результаты съёмки лучше, интереснее, чем на полнокадровой Sony. Why would removing the cars make it very good? I appreciate good critique and good advice but I also like to learn by looking at photos. Could you please share a link for your online portfolio so I can learn from your photos.

@@mattisulanto removing the cars? that would be weird. i guess it's possible to photoshop them out, but i would never even bother trying, if it was my photo. i'm just sharing an opinion, that the whole picture would be better (again - in my opinion), if it happened to have no cars behind them. it's not a critique of your photography, don't impute things to me that i didn't say

@@momchilyordanov8190 I did not mean to photoshop the cars out and I did not put words in you mouth either. You expressed an opinion and that always is some sort of critique too whether you like it or not. I also want to add that there is nothing wrong with that. I actually like it when someone talks about photos instead of gear. I would like to hear why you think the photo would be better without the cars. Could you elaborate that a bit more than just "it would be better". I genuinely want to hear what you think.

@@mattisulanto i think without the cars it would look timeless. the building behind them, their clothes - could be a photo from yesterday or from the 90s. even the fact they all smoke is something we see less and less. and the phone in one of the men's pocket is in a such a case, one cannot be sure if it's a phone or a notebook, or a bigger wallet.

@@momchilyordanov8190 I'm sorry I forgot to reply. Thanks for your thoughts, much appreciated. Of course we can imagine what the photo, or any photo, would be if some of the elements were different or not there at all. However, then it would be a different photo altogether. In this particular photo I'd like to think that the cars tell us approximately when the photo was taken. Instead of making it look timeless they put it at a certain place in time. The shiny cars also offer some contrast to the otherwise run down environment. Because the cars are there and I can't change that I'd like to find something positive about their presence.
