Guys us playing the game is actually Venom going through hypnotherapy. What we are experiencing is the records of the missions of the BIG BOSS'. THAT'S why after playing all those games we think we are playing as boss in the beginning. That's why ocelot says, he has experienced all your missions. That's just us experiencing the real BOSS's missions. Venom is me, you all of us.

Actually I have a theory: About personality disorder. Remember mission 43. We cannot play as any other charecter but Snake. We are even not allowed to choose any other suit but the one we are given. But snake still doesnt talk except cutscene's. So what is the reason for it. Why they couldn't just take and replace charecter by snake at cutscene. The reason is - we dont play as "Venom snake". We play as "Demon snake". Unlike "Venom" "Demon snake" doesnt care about the staff or innocent people. He is a monster. He shoots diamond dogs without even blinking or saying a word. We can see a little smile at his face at the cutscene where Demon snake is walking in corridor full of dead diamonds dogs. And then Snake's personality changes once again. "Venom" refuses to bury diamond dogs ashes into the sea. Like he wants to redeem himself to diamond dogs that died. That personality change is involved in gameplay. The horn. The more awful things you do the longer the horn will be. However if you save children in Africa or spare enemies the horn will be shorter. However in the ending of the game we can see that "Venom snake" smashes the mirror that shows his demon appearance. Which means that Venom refuses to be a demon. Even though he said that he is already a demon when he saved Kaz. That means that we players get to choose hwo we want to be. A "Demon" or "Angrl of outer heaven". Which once again proves that Kojima is genius.

I'd like to think that Kojima with the funds he's amassing will buy the rights to metal gear, and finish it. I know he wanted to end it a long time ago, but man i would hate to have such a big project go unfinished.

Really interesting ideas about the real truth of MGSV, Kojima is a crazy man for sure. But I do think a lot of the discrepancies in metal gear timeline are due to the fact that the franchise has been going for 30+ years and each game in the series jumps between time periods; so many things have been retconned and kind of ’forced‘ into the timeline. MGSV is definitely has lots left to try make sense of, however I think a lot of it is down to the fact it’s an attempt to fill the gap between peace walker and MG1 but it’s created after those two games have already happened

I've been wondering why they never revealed what was on that secret tape from GZ. You try to listen to it and it's all incomprehensible tones. I figured that would've been significant when we finally played TPP, but it never came up again that I recall.

The thing with the 2 Ishmaels was really bugging me too. You even see him die. If you think really meta you might just assume they just copied some model to fill out the place but nah, they wouldn't copy his, way too recognizable and Kojima even pulled stunts irl wearing these head bandages etc. lol. I don't need another game to continue or clear things up, just make an animated movie or series to give us full disclosure and give us games that are remakes of MG1 and MG2:SS. That being said, when analysing the depth and density of themes and concepts Kojima was going for in MGSV, it really shines a spotlight on just how superior and way ahead of its time MGS2:SOL was. I loved that game from the day it was released and as the years go by, as society changes in all its forms from news to social media to socio economics, geopolitics, how we identify ourselves...our very existence as humans on this planet, MGS2 foresaw all of this and used the game as a lens to explore and inform what seeds were being sewn and the various outcomes that were/are likely to happen. Now, MGSV takes an aspect of what MGS2 covered and runs with it but it's greatest achievement for me was to cement the greatness of what MGS2 accomplished in a time the gaming world for the most part were nowhere ready for.

I dont think this makes sense due to the fact that we kill Big Boss twice in the original Metal Gear games. So I believe that Venom Snake is not a dissosciative disorder situation. I believe he was actually a real person since someone would have to be the body double for Snake to kill in Metal Gear 1

I think that before disarmament, we need a huge amount of nukes first. Take a look at MGS1 ending, and the number of nukes and the date: by the 80's there were more than 60 k nukes....

It's a darn shame that we never got the fully finished game. I know that we can view partially finished pieces of one of the final missions but maybe there was more to Chapter 3 that they didn't even have in production, things such as Venom starting Outer Heaven to fully explain why Big Boss was the final enemy in both MG1 and MG2. I'm still glad that I was able to experience the game at all after playing through Peace Walker though.

After MGS2 being just a VR Raiden was stuck into (before MGS4 retconed that), any MGS post 2 can be just some VR shenanigans.

I don't know if with that message Kojima was trolling us or not , but this person is a real genius, and he excited us with a fantastic story,that's still exciting us. PyrhonSelkan 's analysis is very good, and maybe there're still some secrets we didn't found yet, and Iìm not talking about nuclear disarm... In my opinion Venom/the doctor was choosen to be a Big Boss copy, his phantom,and he was really in a coma for 9 years. Big Boss did not fell in the coma,he was cured and he was relised faking that venom was him.so he went on with his plains. MAYBE the disguise of ISHMAEL was to hide an eventual Venom's bodyguard,everytime near Venom ,that's why we see another ISHMAEL in the ospital scene; I think the one in the corridor was the bodyguard,and the ISHMAEL we see in the mission, is Snake,who was informed when Venom awoke (V has come to). About the date on the passport,I think the Ocelot counterfeite one that was still valid.(a passport is valid for five or ten years,it depends from the country) Unanswered questions are: -why is there a secret cutscene in game files (AKA The lord of the flies) that was not deleted? .why we cam't take back the Sahelantropus?We owned it previously... -the return in Camp Omega is only a map for the online, or is a mission undiscovered yet? -Are there some conditions we have to do In two player during an FOB mission?I don't know, finding a secret area together in cooperative insted of fighting each other?(another Peace Message from Kojima?) -Can we take back Huey or at least use the weapon he developed for mothe base? I believe that true mgs 5 that kojima really wanted was the conflict between Venom and Big Boss before Outer Heaven, that would happen after Venom battling Eli and little mantis kid with metal gear sehalamptropus

Based on what Ocelot said to Miller when they have their talk about assisting the phantom and Miller cursing Big Boss, I'm kinda thinking that this whole scheme kinda went down something like this: MSF is destroyed (I'm still not sure what to make of the Camp Omega mission, can't tell if it's a Miller and/or Skullface plot to use Chico to lure Big Boss away from Mother Base during the attack so either the attack can happen or to save Big Boss from the attack. The Paz thing, I can't sort out. I'll just leave it as something happened at Camp Omega, MSF is destroyed, and Big Boss vanishes in the aftermath.) Big Boss is now wary of Miller for being a Cipher ally. In the wake of MSF's destruction, he recruits Ocelot to help him scheme up a way to hide from Cipher while building up an anti-Cipher fighting force. They both decide to use the medic as their subject. Ocelot works for years on turning the medic into a Phantom Big Boss. Rewriting who he is as a person. However, rogue elements inside Cipher have discovered that Big Boss is alive but they think it's the Phantom. The last stages of the transformation are rushed, Ocelot being unable to properly finish his work and plastic surgery being done in a hurry. When Venom wakes up, the Ishmael figure is his old self, partially still intact, manifested as another person meant to help guide Venom to safety and survival. I'm not quite sure how to pin down Volgin. Maybe it is his corpse being powered by Psycho Mantis to hunt down Venom. I'm really not sure how to place that one. Venom goes about his missions, leading Diamond Dogs to greatness all while Ocelot works to try and keep the programming in place. But, as trauma piles on from being on the battlefield, losing so many men to the vocal cord parasites, and having to actually kill lots of them, the programming begins to break. I suspect this is where Demon Snake and the like come into play. Venom's lost self is trying to come back and he's angry for having lost himself to the Big Boss persona. The programming finally breaks and Venom remembers that he used to be someone else but was made into Big Boss. After awhile, he comes to accept and embrace it. He's brought back alongside the real Big Boss under a disguise and name of Gray Fox. Then sent back to Outer Heaven for Operation Intrude N313. He is presumed dead in the resulting air strike at the end of the mission. However, his destroyed body is found by Doctor Madnar and taken in to be given cyborg parts. The game we play is a recollection of his time under the mental programming but destroyed, broken, by the trauma experienced since then and his own past self rising back up from beneath the phantom. As the body of Venom lies in the care of Madnar, being rebuilt, his mind runs through these memories and that's what we experience. That's my take on it. I only hope we do get to see chapter three one day.

I'm calling it now, MGS Portable Ops is Venom's faulty implanted memories of the San Hieronymo incident, hence the discrepancies with the MG1/2/Peace Walker.

I love how half the story is hidden in clues the average player could never find. It probably seemed inconvenient and ridiculous when planning the plot, but it truly is incredibly AWESOME!

How do you guys feel about the Operation Intrude tape actually being N312, which was Gray Fox's mission as opposed to N313 like everyone thinks.

As much as I like this video I do think data miners etc would have found any missing cutscenes or bits etc and although I know kojima likes to troll people I think nearly 5 years after release he would have dropped a bigger hint if there was a hidden part still undiscovered.

Hideo is a high level freemason. A ton of subliminal messages and imagery in all his games. Even his music choice is very interesting. He's not a god. He's aware of the grand plan. He's no prophet. And he doesn't predict things.

Eli only knows venom snake as big boss, and believes he is his father. Maybe he doesn’t know about the body double so he only speaks about venom’s coma when he talks about big boss.

I believe that Ishmael is a figment of Venom/Big boss's imagination. If Ishmael was actually in a coma, how was he "watching over" anybody and how was he able to move and fight so well if he was laying dormant for 9 years?

I believe that the end that was cut from mgsV was more tham what they showed in that video from the last chapter. There was much more content that was cut, like adult Chico. I don't believe that he will do any other metal gear or konami will make a decent metal gear. So I don't believe they will reveal the true ending. The only thing related to metal gear that Kojima has some participation now is with the movie.

The interresting stuff is to find what really happen with the real big boss during 1975 to 1984 (or 1972 to 1984). The hole game is manipulating us (and venom snake) for sure. I think only the end and the audio records are closer to the truth. The cutcsenes can be corrupted by venom's hallucinations. And the audio records were maybe lies to setup venom's mind, i'm not sure. We have to found the right clues to see what it's hinding behind. We know the past, we know the futur. We have to connect the right things to each other. We need to focus on Ground Zeroes events too, maybe it was already a lie. MGSV overall is a lie. Maybe the 9 years coma is not even true. "V has come to" begins when Venom wake up in 1984 from his coma or when we start playing MGSV: Ground Zeroes ? ;).

I just beat mgsv 2 days ago

I always thought that they were in coma 9 years after GZ, but woke up and took two weeks to recover/get face surgery, then an assumed several weeks or months of hypnotic therapy both before and after the hospital scene while on the trip to Afghanistan. The question is, how long was BB awake before Venom, and how long did hypnotic therapy last before the hospital escape scene? Also, keep in mind liquid would not have memories of his birth, he is going on second-hand information. But there could possibly be an event that we've yet to witness where BB and zero split ways. This could be explained by a second coma prior to the events of peacewalker?

Im a huge fan of your mgsv work guys! Just wrote you on twitter a few days back concerning the potential smoke screen behind kojima/konami argument aha! By seeing this video i cant help thinking, if Big Boss was really in a coma for 9 years next to Venom, and ocelot taking him from the truck to his bike after the hospital incident, and joining venom after.. HOW TF COULD YOU LISTEN TO BIG BOSS ON TAPE TALKIN WITH OCELOT ABOUT YOU AND THE V PROJECT!?!?!???? this cannot happen at all, cause BB came to at the same time apparently.. and ocelot wasnt even there before! And lets talk about that final scene with big boss on his bike and ocelot saying « dont worry he can handle it, now go » . Did anyone notice this is THE ONLY SCENE where Venom is not present ! From the beginin we hold onto the fact that we witness with Venom everything that he / we see, even if its as weird as burning whales. Considering that what we see could entirely be false cause of skull schrapnel.. how could the Big Boss scene be true, mostly when Venom aint here to witness this, HOW WOULD HE EVEN KNOW THAT THIS HAPPENED.
