Without tons of loud distracting music and minus volumes of endless commentary I have to say that for reasons beyond my understanding this video was very compelling to watch. That said, keep posting as apparently, regardless of the craft, there is something about watching a genuine artist at work that is truly wonderful for the soul.

I love the way you clean and paint everything. People tell me I waste time doing the same thing because I clean and paint items nobody will ever see but I know it's going to last a long time.

Beautiful job sanding and painting and yes that's the reason we wear heavy shirts even if we sweat our asses off when we use a wire wheel due to flying metal particles... hehehe... personally when I was building sand rails I would just use a cheap sandblaster from harbor freight and hook it up to my compressor to blast off all the old crap of course after spraying with degreaser first. At least it went much faster for me since I was getting a lot of VW front ends to put on the front end of my rails. Also if you want a natural mosquito repellent... get a spray bottle put 20 drops of these essential oils; peppermint, lavender, tea tree... then fill the bottle with Vodka don't use rubbing alcohol because it will dry out the skin. Spray away all your mosquito away. Thanks for taking me along for the continuing journey of the Kona... 👍👍👍👍👍

Nice job with attention to detail and using really high quality parts! Drum to disc conversion...no more tug left-or-right on the steering wheel whenever you apply the brakes, and no more wondering if you'll even have brakes after running through a rain puddle. You might want to rethink the flip-flops when working on a car. Dropping a brake rotor from workbench height and having it land edge-first directly onto your toes hurts like hell, and will send you to the ER, even if you're wearing greasy sneakers. This is followed by 3 days of ice packs while you watch your blackened toenails die ...please don't ask me how I know this. lol That bus reminds me of the '67 Deluxe my family bought new when I was a boy. I'm so glad to see you're keeping it on the road! PS I enjoy your Suzuki Bergman videos as well, they're really helpful when I'm working on my 2004 Bergman 650.

Man, I've restored a couple cars in my younger days but it is first now I'm realizing how much effort it actually takes, I never noticed that at the time going forwards like a bull!!!!

Not a lot of people remember the difference between the tie rod ends and the size.. Good Job 👌 Wildwood should give you a big thanks because I know a lot of people wouldn't buy their brakes if they didn't watch your video. I'll be buying a set of disc brakes for my 64 this week.

Awesome video! That's a ton of work...but it's all worth it when you have to make the 1st panic stop. I have CSP disc brakes on my bus, and glad I installed them on more than one occasion!

I started with the beginning of your bus restoration video(s) and am super stoked on the work you accomplished! I had a 58 VW panel bus that I bought for $200 in the mid 70's, and let it go for $150 which I've yet to collect to this day. I've almost completed my body off restoration on my 64 VW Sedan, but still have thoughts of a VW Bus. Awesome work dude, really enjoy your video's restoration' to now. Keep up the good work! WOW T1 I remeber them since I was a kid. My mothers brother had one with spare tyre on the front. Now they are extremely rare even here where every home has at least one MK2 Golf. Great video, and great wirk too, thank you.

I think the Japanese way of doing anything has seeped into your soul! not only do you do things on that bus correctly you do them well. Im workin on my 70 bay window, the 41st vw Ive owned since 1980, and the newest never having anything newer than 65'. love the vids hope to see the bus goin soon.

@@VWLifeVW sir i watch ur videos also😃 yes right hand drive and all original last time it driven was in 1976 all this time it was parked! Only few rust holes but everything else solid.. sad part is that it didn't have the original engine guess the reason was mayb that time it had problems and since the car was in complete jungle the owner must have taken it for repairs n later couldn't follow God knows but great part is atleast i got now full restoration😉

как у нас говорят, синяя изолента держит крепче всего ))) если ей примотал что то, то пройдут десятилетия а она все так же будет прочной одним словом - навсегда * * * as we say, the blue tape holds tight in all ))) if she strapped something, it will take decades and it will still durable in one word - forever
