@@streetwiseguitar5113 Yeah, man. Excellent! I'm a bassist and my best friend and musical soulmate in college (Appalachian State) was a tenor player who played everything Brecker. Not kidding. Peter Erskine visited App State and we played "Invitation". My buddy went ape on his solo and Erskine was, well, Erskine. After the first take, Erskine looked at my buddy and said, "Hey tenor player, what's your name?" "It's Shannon, Mr. Erskine." "That's a girl's name. Really nice damn solo." All that is a back story to write, "Really nice damn work, man."

Not only did I slow the recording down, but I had to find fingerings that would work at high speeds. That took the longest time. I didn’t really have to analyze the chord progression because it was pretty clear what he was doing most of the time.
