There are actors in the movie industry who role-play mob men like Michael Franzese. That's one thing. But this is the real deal, the real McCoy, the bonafide, genuine persona, that you see up there in the video. This is the man who walked and talked and lived the life that others can only act out (no disrespect to the actors). You see, there were no shouts of "cut" in the kind of world that Michael lived in. And I suspect there were no "take 2's" either. And I have to say, despite my inner voice which tells me not to compliment this man because of the things he had to do while being a made-man -- fuck my inner voice! I find Michael to be valiant and brave in more ways than I can count. Add to that description Michael exudes a special kind of intelligence and a different breed of class. I always enjoy listening -- and learning -- to what Michael has to say.

His story reminds me of a story as related to me by my stepmother about her first husband the dad of 3 of 4 stepbrothers. He was a genius of a thief. He stole a tractor-trailer load of turkeys once and they were living (he and my stepmother) in a mill-village and the houses were divided apart by posed privacy fences and a neighbor came to the door saying to her one morning when she was just beginning breakfast for the kids. "I'm sorry to bother you this early but your turkeys are getting into my back yard and scratching up my garden for worms." She went to the back porch and looked out the window and it looked like it had snowed! The backyard was wall-to-wall turkeys! And it sounded like hail hitting the roof the racket they were making! Gobble! Gobble! Gobble! It was almost Thanksgiving and when I heard this story 15 years later I about died laughing!!!

I have a question for Mr.Franzese. Many years ago I saw an interview on television by Joe Bonano. It was taped at his home in Mexico. He was asked about the assassination of JFK. Mr. Bonano detailed the relationship that Joe Kennedy Sr. had with the Italian mob and that promises were made by him if the mob would assist in the election of JFK. Unfortunately for Kennedy's sons, they were not aware of this connection. However, in this interview, Bonano detailed the execution of this assassination. He said that The New York families were not consulted and that Sam Giancana , with the help of the Florida and Louisiana bosses organized the plot. Furthermore he stated that 2 hitmen from France were brought in through Mexico and flown out through Canada. He stated that even though the Kennedy brothers were targeting them, they felt great shame for the murder of a President of the United States. A country that had given them so much. Shortly after this Sam Giancana was murdered in his basement. This was due to his approval of the assassination. I have never again seen this interview and have looked everywhere online for it. Could you verify what I have seen?
