@John Hebert Those so called honest businessmen are already in bed with the mob for this to happen. A lot of guys get in over their head gambling or make the mistake of borrowing money from the mob so it's their fault. The Italian mafia isn't committing street crimes or going after businesses they're giving people enough rope to hang themselves with and the dumb ones put their head in the noose. Are they bad guys? I'm sure many are but you have a choice to not get involved with them.

@Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Killed by the CIA? Not a chance. A lot of other people have evaded tax and stole a lot more money from the government, yet they still breathe and walk freely in the US. It is more likely that there would be rogue agents asking for a cut from him.
@aabidamn
@aabidamn 4 жыл бұрын
@Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Walter Anderson, Leona Helmsley. Both are dead now but lived long after their conviction. Practically every US military contractor are stealing money from the government through mark up practices yet the companies and their VPs are still breathing. Regardless what you saw and read on the internet, the US is not a tyrannical country where they can easily kill their own citizen. Edward Snowden is considered a traitor on the highest level by the US government, yet he is still alive amd breathing at the moment. Your turn. Name the tax evaders that has been killed by the government.
@aabidamn
@aabidamn 4 жыл бұрын
@Reformed Ex-DrugTrafficker Huh...I thought he died a few years ago. So he is ALIVE then. As for Leona Helmsley, she was convicted in 1992, released from prison in 1994, and died at the age of 87 in 2007. And your conclusion was that she died not by natural cause just after she got out of prison? She evaded tax while Franzese didn't pay the taxes he collected. Basically they are pretty much the same. And Franzese himself is still alive and well at the moment, so your theory about people are getting killed over tax conviction is pretty much out of the window.

I am retired from BOP , Petersburg. I knew his father, " Sonny" he was a real gentleman . At 72 years old , back then, he did. Not look like it. (This was in 90-96 ) I remember going through the staff chow line where Sonny worked , and he would ask me what vegetables I wanted? He would always say anything that grows close to the ground can't hurt you. A very likable , honest and down to earth guy.

I'm not sure how one would evaluate his intelligence compared to others based of a KZfaq video. But, it's not about being smart or a lack thereof. @Will Hoyt What words mean rarely matters in the real world? I'm sorry, but I don't think you experience enough of the world to know that. I know that sounds like an insult, and there may be no way for me to prove it's not, but it's not. "Semantics" is the conduit of communication that allows the constitution and law to apply itself without inconsistencies and contradictions in language. You can't address one court case, construct a single law, write a single theorem, or develop a single solution with the application of formal and lexical semantics. It just seems unimportant because you don't know what it is when you use it.

A real gentleman? Are you lying or just dumb? He's a mobster who now makes a boat load of money glorifying his life of crime. He's a sleazy ball. Just because he's a "brilliant story teller" who makes serious $$$ gloating about how cool and smart he is doesn't magically mean he's a great person. Let me guess, you also think Obama was a "brilliant" President solely because he was really good at reading a teleprompter even though you probably can't name a single substantial thing you think he did that was great.

I always wondered that. How some of these people who do these kind of interviews remember every word someone said in 1962, he can telll you what he had for breakfast and supper that day. Especially Joey coco Diaz, his stories are all detailed it will make you question what? How? How do you remember that day so well. Crazy lol but it’s still so interesting and fascinating to hear how people lived back then. I guess that’s what makes a story interesting is adding those little details.

I have to say, I watch a lot of interview podcasts and interviews in general, the stories are interesting. But so far this is the best interview series I've seen, not just with Michael but with other mafia affiliated people, Patrick asks questions that are structured to set up really interesting stories and the interviewee generally has a captivating story to respond with, usually interviewers come across as just running down the list of questions but not Patrick, he engages the subject really well and brings out their inner storyteller

I don't get it: what has he been through that causes you to think so highly of him? He was a career criminal who hurt a lot of people in order to masturbate his ego and steal other people's money. He's a piece of trash who now gets paid a lot of money to sit around and brag about how great he was at lying and stealing millions and millions of dollars from a lot of honest, law-abiding people. I just don't get why people like you think terrible human beings like this are such great people. People like you who glorify and look up to horrible people are a serious problem in our society.

@@qayn7617 How in the world did you get that I don't care about government abuse from me saying Michael Franzese was a career criminal who people shouldn't look up to? You are amazingly stupid, aren't you? And you think the freaking mob are "small time criminal(s)"!? You think stealing and extorting tens of millions of dollars (probably more like hundreds of millions or even billions) from people and being a leader in am organized gang that robs and murderers people is "small time"?? You think he become a leader in the mob from solely committing "small time" crimes? There's a reason he only talks about the crimes he was convicted of or those that the statute of limitations have expired. You think he's going to give interviews admitting to murderers and other crimes for which he can still be arrested for? You are so unbelievably gullible and retarded to think a leader in the mob is a "small time criminal"...
