My dad passed from Parkinson’s. He fought for 28 years and never complained. I’ll never forget holding his hand and him shaking and just trying to ask me to not forget about him and to make sure his grandkids remembered him and how much he loved them. He died with me holding his hand. Parkinson’s is a cruel disease and I wish Michael nothing but the best and hope someone is holding him when it’s his time.

I envy you in a way. You were there when your dad left this earth. I was asleep and got woken up to a call that my deddy was rushed to the hospital and I needed to get there. He was already dead but my brother wouldn't tell me. I kinda knew but didn't want to think the worst. I got there and sat with his body for 2 hours until they told me I had to leave. I didnt want them to touch him. I pulled the sheet over his face. He had a spot on his head that when he fell he hit his head and it bled all down his face and the first thing I saw when I came in was my deddys bloody face. I started crying (like I am right now) and I told him "You can't go to HEAVEN looking like that!!" I grabbed some napkins and wet them and cleaned his face. I wiped all the blood off. I kept the napkins. I didn't have the heart to throw them away cause that blood is the same blood that flows through my veins. It's been almost 2 years and I have cried everyday for him. I still grieve for him. He is my HERO!! I miss my deddy so much. He was the STRONGEST TOUGHEST MAN I have ever known. I feel so alone without him here. The world is a much more dangerous place for me without him in it. I'm sorry for your loss. I just wanted you to know I understand about losing a father. I'll never be the same again. July 9th 2021 I became a different person. 😢

I grew up watching Alex on TV. It just breaks my heart how he has suffered so long with Parkinson’s disease. He is such a strong role model and his wife Tracey too! Prayers to this talented, kind, caring man.

Deborah brooks who is CEO and founder of Michael j fox foundation has refused this cure, her reason was the dosage of thiamine wasn't the same for all patients, what bs, truth is thiamine is cheap, and she used to work at Goldman Sachs, her Michael j fox foundation salary is 989,290 per year... Foundations are for profit, not cheap proven cures... Not enough money for big pharma her cash cow

I don’t think his wife is strong enough to handle him. I fear I’m going to have to get her to put him in a hospital. Anyone know where this disease comes from? I did Ancestry back to the 1400 didn’t find anything about it. At least in my family‼️ M kennedy

I can actually say, “I love this man!” He is resilience in the darkest, most painful times. For those of us going through medical conditions/diseases that will not get better, it’s hard fought. HEROS are hard to find. MJF is a HERO!

Parkinson’s break through: Identifying a bio marker for the disease before symptoms appear. This is a huge achievement since it helps in developing medications and other therapies to address the disease. As with many diseases, early intervention is key - address the problem before it becomes more advanced.

It breaks my heart to see him struggling with this. He doesn’t deserve this. He has always been such a good person. But when he said he won’t make it to 80 it looked like he just realized it and was so sad. No one should have to come to terms with knowing they won’t live very long. I know he has to be scared. I’ll be praying for healing, comfort, peace, joy, happiness, and that he’s able to enjoy his life. 🥰🥰🥰

My Husband passed in 2016 from Parkinson’s Disease, Parkinson’s is no ones friend, he was so exhausted & yes the trimmers & the off balance & the struggle in the end was so painful. He took his last breaths in my arms, no where else I would have wanted to be than with him💯🙏🏻💔 I LOVE MJF WHAT A GREAT SOUL💯🙏🏻🙏🏻

My dad had Parkinsons and he died from pneumonia not from Parkinsons. Michael Fox is such a wonderfully brave man. He’s helping so many people with this disease. I admire him so much and wish him and his family the very best💜💜💜

Heart , you are a vessel for everyone .. you are lucky, you lived two very different lives in one life time. You get to view and understand all. I still feel so sorry for him. He got this terrible disease so young. He was such a good actor. He has done such great things since being diagnosed. I'm glad he has a great supportive family.

Michael is an incredible man showing a ton of courage fighting this horrible disease and an inspiration for anybody going through it but, let’s not forget his wife. She is an Angel and a Saint. She is facing this disease every step WITH him.
