I have been involved in the Dodge Weekly series and moved up to the Whelen All American series with some Super Trucks mixed in as well. I can honestly tell you, there are many drivers you have never heard of that could handle these cars, some better than the one's doing it now.

@RNGSR2010 they (NA$CAR) never ran or mandated the HANS when Sr. died. he also ran an open face,

He would probably be dead... The SAFER Barrier absorbs at least 50% of the initial impact. If it would have been just a Concrete wall... even with the COT Machine, McDowell would have either died or had some serious injury.
