The mistakes are hidden and this allows for more to be made. Check out the CCP originals such as the great leap forward, one-child policy and the latest classic called zero covid. These are achievements the CCP can certainly be proud of. Am sure with time we will be able to add BRI to the list 😂

@@johndoe-vc1we Great leap forward was a certain failure while One Child policy was a 50%success story. but Zero Covid is a good one . as soon as it was lifted due to student unrest , thousands od Chinese people died out of the virus attack. the policy was put into practice keeping in view the lowest immunity of the Chinese people. even vaccines are not 100%safe in such a scenario. You see in India , most of the people vaccinated but in surprise , many a youngesters (even below the age of 30) are dying every day by heart attack syndrome just one year after vaccination. some thing is going wrong with the vaccines of which the fact is yet to come out.

You cannot have secrets in India because you have the congress party selling everything to china because they know that the Hindu's are starting to understand what there game plan is for the future which will benefit the vadras and gandhi's. Congress mukt Bharat is the only way to go to advance the progress of Bharat. Jai Hind

China does not take part in striving for world dominance, but for harmonious co-prosperity with all. Mr. Pillsbury puts it in such context and seeks to align countries to impede China's rise.

we are currently in the denxaoping era, building the base for growth... we'll compete with china as equal after 20-25 years from now, if USA and europe helps us, and if middle east and russia doesn't hamper.

Why would India media get this guy for a talk? India wants to build anti-China populism? If so, for what? India does not need to maintain global hegemony like US do, and India is in BRICS and will need to collaborate with China for a variety of issues. I am very confused.

India/Indians will get any China hater to spew garbage about China negatively to make themselves feel good because they're jealous of China's achievement and more importantly they can't accept the fact that China BEAT THEM comprehensively in the last 30 years when both have almost the same GDP to now China having a GDP 4-5 times that of India's. This is a bitter pill for most to swallow and few will admit to this jealousy/envy.

India is unnecessarily obsessing about ‘The India Moment’ or ‘Amritkal’. China has left India light years behind and we still have no clue how to catch up with the dragon.

Pillsbury is suggesting that India can catch up by opening the door to foreign investment like how china did. The US can help you catch up. But probably india is too smart smart to let the west exploit it a second time.

"Oranges" are not intellectually self isolated like you , they are aware of the challenges and are trying to navigate into the future and solidify it's place , thanks to the scamgress India missed the industrialisation bus that China took successfully,

@@bababistril its difficult to industrialise in a democratic country as it involves trampling on rights & freedoms. If you notice most countries even in the west industrialised before they became democratic. Taiwan and Korea were military dictatorships during their industrialisation phase. Same with Vietnam. Japan did it in the 19th C
