A great artist and a super nice guy. He did a private acoustic show at my buddy's house. He showed up early, hung out, and left late. We all talked for hours.

So beautiful and soulful. It may be selfish of me but I prefer such talented musicians playing intimate venues. I don't understand why people insist on chatting while he is singing. Their loss.

Is sad to see a legend playing gigs in bars

Marcos González I agree brother. And to hear all the people talking over this...LEGEND. Wow!
@user-mo3tv1oo3o7 жыл бұрын
Marcos González whether hes playing in front of 20,000 or 20 people hes still a legend and is touching people with his music and lyrics... no shame in playing smaller venues!
@MoonBeamsAndDreams7 жыл бұрын
bert finch That is so true especially in regards to Michale. He's really fan oriented and he's said that he enjoys the smaller venues because he can touch them on a more individual basis. He take pics with fans, signs autographs etc. He's a humble man too. Fucking love him! However, I do see what you guys mean... It's like we all want more for him, he deserves it!!
@Metallizombie6 жыл бұрын
All the further proof that this is what he wants to do.
@madmartigan16346 жыл бұрын
This isn't sad, this is intimate setting for a sweet gig. Although, it is a shame that certain members of The Misfits ignore that their most popular albums have Mr. Graves on vocals and refuse to reunite, preferring blown out edgelord Danzzyg.
@chdaum62325 жыл бұрын
Michale Graves is My All Time Favorite Artist to date. I Met Him In St.Louis @ Fubar He Was The Nicest Man . Totally NOT A SELLOUT! He Greeted Everyone As Equals And Was More Than Happy To Take Pictures And Chat Up A Storm With Anyone! We Spoke For A Good 10 Minutes Him And I As Well as My bff. We Spoke Of Love Loss God Music The Misfits,LOL...Hes So Talented And Sucha A Genuine Man With A Giant HEART! He Told So Many Great Stories On How And Why Certain Songs Wetre Written. It Pains me That At this Show Ppl Are Talking So Loud Over His Music When His music comes from his Dark SOUL>! I understand People are drunk and enjoying themselves but Damn Let The Man Sing His Heart Out To you And for the Ppl who Love Michale Graves ,his music and his dark soul LET THE MAN SING! PPL BE QUIET THIS MAN HAS A MESSAGE! Ya Dig
@nottmfunguy6 жыл бұрын
Shame the Misfits ignored him. He was the reason they got back into the game second time around he has a great voice. It makes it worse they decided to do a reunion with Danzig and leave him totally out of it.
@punxnotdead3873 Жыл бұрын
Danzig is original with Jerry, with guest doyle. Makes sense for reunion. Graves albums are great but not as big fan base as the originals.
@michaelbanks2401 Жыл бұрын
They need to cut Jerry he's not the original bassist anyways Diane was, they could have Graves n Glenn doing their songs on the same show that would be something
@punxnotdead3873 Жыл бұрын
@@michaelbanks2401 she didnt produce any albums that be retarded if they cut glen. And they don't agree with the proud boys bs so it never happen.

I started not long to listen to the misfits and I fell in love with them. But the biggest surprise is when I heard the acoustic versions of their songs of Michael Graves. An incredible, impressive, powerful voice. I wonder how today we listen to the trap and shit like that !!! punk's not dead and will never die, thanks to these artists! Continue to produce music, pleeeeeease!

Version of the shining is so amazing. 🌹🤘🌹. I love how he sings and the style he brought to the Misfits. Such a shame people don't aknowledge his efforts aswell as Danzigs when it comes to the Misfits. As an artist myself they both deserve recognition for they both brought a different dynamic to an amazing what you could call backing band. The MICHALE GRAVES VERSION of the Misfits could have very well been its own thing and went under a different name as the dynamic to the song writing was so different on those albums he was on.🌹

A metaphorical lyrical genius at age 14 and even before then until he realized what he was thinking to his head belong on paper and music that is super nice like you said but the only thing that I have left in the world to ever have to say to him again is when Michael Graves says thank you I do the same thing in a guy just did in the crowd and I say no Michael thank you for it is his music played his way I mean f*** the misfits his music played his way brought me back to music made me not allowed me but made me pick my guitar back up again not only made me pick my guitar back up again and start playing my favorite bands but the right just start writing again and Jimmy Bryant I'm 50 years old

And his music has caused me to think so hard and deep and heavy on a mental side I might just kill myself and at the same time his music will get you so above and beyond the call of duty to make it work or else sometimes they save my life that's what I'm saying my degrees music saved my life the only did he say my life without music he got me to take my guitar up play music too not just that drawing again going out and just living life with my daddy died that was my whole family I was a daddy's boy who no matter how wrong I did he can see no harm in me would love me more in the whole damn family hated us both of that but he wrote him out he died in my arms November 17th 2011 I hear him being a walker on the wall to wake me up in the middle of the night cuz he's had an accident but he's gone and I'll tell you what Michael Graves made all that better his songs are just so amazing to me and the end of the way he uses words you have to play out yourself metaphorically speaking to figure out what they mean sometimes and that's just the truest kind of music and only that I've noticed he changes a song every other every time every time you see him play it live here trying to play live somewhere else it's something small something small and insignificant that happens to be significant to the small change and you hearing it all the time change the word just an amazing kid you know that I got a chance at a young age 20 years old I think it is to the same for the misfits how badass it would that be if Carrie came from Slayer came up and asked you would you sleep would you sing for us right now you used to be back in the day and Metallica would have been great to sing to them they can't do they do kind of suck now but anyway thank you for letting me rattle off and in the 80s words of any musician thank you no thank you see we both have to think each other however you're thinking for millions of people and fans to watch you I'm just hoping to get the one so thank you Michael without you I'd be a southern miserable suffering succotash on the side
