Yeah I didn't know about it the first time I used it also had a friend come over and jump start my truck. Then figured it out.

Too much non useful information on going out to use it. I need straightforward details what to plug in where to charge it. I am not bothered about you going out onto the trail to jump start some vehicle. What do I plug in and where to charge it.

I have a question about the instruction manual because a certain part of it seems a little bit strange. According to the manual, after the vehicle is charged, you are to disconnect the cables beginning with the red cable (see page 10). I’m a little nervous to try it because that’s the opposite of how jumpstarting a car usually works. You always disconnect the black cable first. So I’m wondering if this is an error in the manual, or if the Michelin device needs to be used in an unusual way?

I remove both. If its dead, dead I have left it on for a bit after starting.

Normally take the positive off first. I don't think it will hurt anything if you take the negative off first. I know I have done it both ways.

“Slow Strobe” is actually an SOS flashing signal. Weird question. On my motorcycle battery I added terminal cables that blend together and plug into my trickle charger. The part that hangs off my battery and I connect/disconnect from the trickle charger looks identical to the side of the jumpstarter. What do you think are the chances I could plug my motorcycle wire directly to the jumpstarter and it work? 🤷🏼‍♂️

How long it takes for power bank to get full charge and how often does power bank need to recharge batteries.

It last awhile just depends on how many times you use it but have jumped the truck and sxs off it 10 times or so before charging it. Probably have used it to charge my phone more than a jumper pack. Think it took maybe 3 hr to charge or less.

I always just disconnected the jumper cables from the pack and it would shut off after a minute or so.

If it's completely dead dead you might have to put it on a charger. Are you hitting the boost button on the side of the connector?

@@SpangsWorld I’m starting to wonder if we’d done it wrong as we had the lights on it before we attached it. I have a Michelin one and had a Halfords one too that didn’t work so I think it must be me just doing it wrong.

@@DebbieCo I have had to leave it connected to the battery for like 5-10 minutes then go to start it before also. Had to let it charge the battery some before it started.

didn't use mine for 4 months the charge wasn't enough to do anything had to use AAA TOW TRUCK for 'amps' (after AAA sent out a mini truck that tried a portable starter)
