Unboxing and using a Jump Starter & Power Bank to boost a car with a dead battery

Жыл бұрынI unbox a Type S Jump Starter & Power Bank with a battery capacity of 29.6 Wh. We discuss the inputs and outputs on the unit and then charge it and connect it to a battery to show what LED indicators light. We then try to jump a van with an undersized dead battery and see what indicators light as the unit gets drained ; then recharge it and boost a car with a proper sized battery.

Good lord! I just bought one yesterday at Costco for $69. I'm taking it back. From your video it is clear that it is underpowered. Thanks for the heads up.

For any size car or truck engine charge,you will need a minimum 600A @ 12v to jump start it..

No lo hace en el mismo coche, yo me he comprado uno en costco y no vale. Es malgastar el dinero ....por un poco más te compras uno mejor.

It won't work on completely dead or zero voltage battery. Ideally 20% voltage is needed for the battery to start. Thats what manufacturers of these mini jumpstarters don't tell customers. Don't believe me? Do this. Detach red and black cable from your car battery. Then connect this jumpstart to the loose car black and red cables. Crank it up. Nothing will happen. It won't start. Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself.

100% useless unit with way too many problems by the looks ,,, cannot keep running inside to charge it when your a 100ks from home
