I remember having a panic attack near a beautiful beach in Mexico. I was taken by surprise. There was a subconscious thing going on and my anxiety was fueling it. Didn't make any sense at the time because I was in paradise, but as I looked at the big picture there were a lot of stresses I was letting build up. I had to let it pass, it was crazy difficult, took about 40 minutes, and then I was super fatigued afterwards. I now practice mindfulness meditation that helps, a book called "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels has been helpful.

Wow! Thank you for sharing your experience. Yeah sometimes it’s hard to tell what it is until later and we can realize how much stress may have been there or what triggered it but sometimes we never know. I’m glad you’ve found something that helped you and thanks for sharing it I’m sure someone will read the comment and get some help ❤

i’m finding your content pretty helpful! i’ve lived through a lot of trauma, and had to deal with mental health issues, but especially now, i’ve been dealing with distressing intrusive thoughts, after witnessing something traumatic. sometimes i feel alright, but other times my anxiety tries to convince me the thoughts mean something, and i kind of spiral. i’m trying to remind myself to think rationally, and your content helps with that! so thank you so much! currently i’m trying to figure out whether or not i’m ready to start trying to change and overcome this, and your youtube and ig account are a positive factor in this:)

One time when I was in the throws of a very stressful episode, I finally spoke to my psychiatrist about what I was feeling. She said it sounded like I was having an anxiety attack with panic attacks sprinkled in. I've had these my whole life 😅😬😭

Hello Micheline. Really love your videos. They have helped me a lot. I am struggling a lot in life currently. I have Religious OCD, all types of OCD, intrusive thoughts(very bad), Depression, axiety disorder and much more. I keep crying most of the time and I feel terribly alone. No one understands me and I dont know how to come out of this. I am currently under medication and treatment but all I get are suicidal thoughts all day long and I keep beating and hurting myself by punching, using fork or knife. Please Help. everything is going out of control.

Has anyone else had the experience where the world looks as though its seen through water? Or feeling like your mind and body are 2 separate things? You can decide what to to, and can tell your body what to do, but they are 2 separate things? Having to focus with all I have to keep breathing or my body would stop breathing. I'm honestly not sure what this is categorized as.

One time at school, it was free period so people were screaming, yelling, and running around. It was loud, bright, and because of people running around I could feel the thuds on the floor, which made me very anxious. At some point I started shaking really badly, my eyes were tearing up, my face was hot, and I had shortness of breath. My friend had to bring me to a quiet room but I still couldn’t calm myself down for about 20 minutes. I’m not sure if this is an anxiety attack, or if it is a symptom of a mental disorder. Is this an anxiety attack?

This all sounds like Trauma. Anxiety is a symptom of. Just like Depression, etc.. That should be used more. Cpstd. Complex/~Childhood Trauma. The dissociation, nervous system deregulation and inner child, etc..I haven’t looked yet, though I’ve been doing all the different modalities to heal from it for 3 years now. I thought, bc I was “labeled” with having anxiety and it never went away. Anxiety was my identity. I had a twisting knot in my stomach and panic would set in/Freeze/Shock (When you feel like you may die), dissociating while panicking driving. I’d had an accident. I couldn’t understand. Just placed in medication upon medication. I have 4 I’m on still and 2 are the hardest and at the the time, nobody knew how physically and physiologically addictive they are. Anyways, while I listen to you speak, I hear trauma informed information. The body remembers. The mind tells stories. The knot I had went away after 2 sessions I had without talking about the past. I now am without any guidance, dt my Therapist leaving to go a different path. Looking for another. However I think it’s truly important that one gets their nervous system regulated, has the tools and uses prior, to help them to reduce the symptoms. I’m having a time where I’m feeling afraid to go outside again. I just moved, 900 miles away from home and now. 14 months later, I’m in a new place. I love the place but the fear of being judged by others and society “anxiety”, overwhelm, in in high. 10 steps forward, without guidance and the correct type, only my tools that help me so much, at this point, I feel like I’m disconnected and numb, but went 7 steps back 😢. Thank you for sharing this information with us❤
