We have this local skaterink here on the eastern shore of virginia ( delmarva penninsula) it was called " The Dream" roller rink. I took lessons their as a kid till I was like 12. It shut down :( it still stands ill have to go take some photos of it. This made me miss being in skates longgg ago 🖤

I wonder if the family that owns this place puts the wheel oil in the food to make this stuff so good ( I didnt know the name of what they used back then but i don't imagine it was food standard. Maybe not even skate wheel standard 😂) and the hot chicks always hung at the rink and the older girls who thought i was some kinda little piccasos that gave away paintings from a old pallet paper book.. If i wasn't skating id paint pictures and give them out to people i knew and their friends. And id in return get a half smoked cigarette or a sip of whatever they smuggled in that evening... Maybe thats why im in NA and been doing drugs since 13.... I still don't blame the roller rink maybe just the girls who ended up being the type of women iv been playing leap frog from one to the next with for the last 20 years... Either way i loved that place. Thank you for the trip down memory lane. And listening to my childhood and also helping me realize i am even more fucked up then i thought.... Time for more meds. @@LilBigBadwolf0 Actually true,when I'm coming to skatepark and just warming up doing grinds,some skateboarders(not all skateboarders) are shitting on me. And when i do a lazy misty the hate goes away.

Skaters are usually open to anyone giving it a try at the park unless you're in a town full of assholes.

When you're this used to skating, you also learn how to fall/land, it's part of your skill. I believe accidents can happen hut they're much less likely with a large amount of skill.
