Thanks, Mal. Well yeah I always try to improve and there's always a fair bit of particulate in the water so maybe this will remove it. Who knows? Thanks again

I didn't know this barley based bacterial product must be innovative and effective for clarifying water. I really like the plant with the pink flowers. Have a nice week Chris

Thanks so much Marco. They are called impatient. They're just an annual but they do rather well with damp feet so I figured why not put them all the way in the water and they took off Barley straw extract has been used for a number of years around this area, especially the control algae I'm going to try it in Aquarium

Your pond is relatively clear of algae compared to many others so it will be interesting to see if adding the extract will make much of a difference. There are so many factors contributing to algae growth including sunlight, filtration, plants, etc so what works for one person may not work for another. My go to for algae control is my UV which has always worked well for me so I'll stick to that. Hope your wife doesn't watch your videos so, at least for now, you're safe when using her measuring cup.🤣🤣🤣

So far so good Ken. She hasn't watched yet hahaha. And it's it's clearing and there's no smell to it so I think I'm safe. Yeah I agree something works differently for everyone. And like you said, there's so many factors going into what brings in more algae whether it's a fish waste rainwater, sunlight, detritus, etc. Thanks again pal

Hopefully it works for you. I've not had much luck with the straw in the past, hopefully this works better. I have a bottle, but only used it on the front pond for rutine spring maintenance. With the dye we use, water clarity is not important for us. Sorry about your Shubunkin. Love the plants. I mix food as well. Great update. ❤

Great update Chris. Even though your clarity is already good, there should still be some improvement. More so if it's thick pea soup lol The biggest benefit I can project is the assistance with excess algae, string algae and breakdown of debris. Once you have all the applications done and some time for extra biomass and debris breakdown. You should see more improvement. Works excellent with bottom drain combo but will assist with the efficiency of your mechanical and biological filtration. Early Spring startup is the idea timeframe to start this process to stay ahead of the surplus nutrients in the water feeding the algae production until your plants have time to catch up for the season. This could be used in an aquarium I believe. I would strongly recommend dosing with a pediatric syringe available at most pharmacies at no cost. This is more appropriate for dosing as it's a concentrated extract used on a small scale. Look forward to your future updates on the matter. 🙂

I can't thank you enough Jonathan for doing what you did. That was so kind of you. I've done my second dose and things are looking excellent. I'll be putting out a new video on that. I followed your advice and did use the pediatric style syringe on the tank and well I'm doing a video on that one as well. It's great results, so thank you again my friend. Hope you're having a great weekend. Talk soon

Didn't you know that firetrucks have to refill their water supply from koi ponds? 😅 I'm so sorry to hear about your shubunkin. That was very nice of John to send you that. I do remember his ponds from your video, they were quite pretty, definitely would like to see more of them! Neat product. Will be interesting to see how it does. Maybe in really small amounts, it could be a non-chemical solution for aquariums, too. The impatiens look so beautiful! 🌸 I don't know if it's pond safe, but Persian shield is another plant that seems to like a lot of water, purple foliage that Sandra might like. (Not sure if it likes wet feet, that'd be a question for Jim maybe). Your ponds look beautiful! 🙂👍Watched twice.
