In this episode of stubbs Aquatics We look at all types of filtration both for your aquarium and for your ponds
How many of us have been sold a package either for our aquariums or our ponds and told that should be enough filtration for what you need only to find out it's not even close then you have to add on. Well I'm guilty of that as well. so I've had to add on to numerous aquariums and to my ponds to increase the filtration to ensure my fish and water systems are healthy.
now because I'm not overly handy, I've had to make things that are simple because not all of us are mechanically inclined, plumbers or rich. so I'm hoping these tips, tricks and simple builds will help you

Yeah filtration can be confusing especially to those new to the hobby or a type of filter so great videos like this explaining about them are so helpful. Sure wasn't expecting my name to pop up but thank you for that. That was awfully kind of you.

I have used pond products in my aquariums in the past. I find that hydroculture and its filtration brings many benefits to the aquarium and pond. Have a great day Chris

Great video Chris, loved the breakdown of different types of filtration. Plants whether in the tank or outside are hugely beneficial with filtration. You hit it on the head 😁

Thanks so much Chris. Understanding the basis of water filtration is really quite simple, but a lot of people knew to the hobby are very intimidated by it…… that’s why Video was like this are so awesome. Thanks for helping everybody and given us even more great ideas.!!!! we just resubbed for like 1000th time…. the purge this year is off the hook!!

Great video as always Great points especially when you talk about getting sold a bag of good that doesn't do what they say, example you only need a skimmer for your pond.

Yeah so many people get sold that whole thing. You just need to skimmer and that's it and it doesn't cut it not even close

@@stubbsaquatics6080 Yes I think this product works well. But boy when you open it , it does smell but you don’t smell it in the pond. Good for fish & plants and for dogs who may drink pond water 💦! Thanks 😊 for the mug but you didn’t have to do that.

The "bogs" in your aquariums sure looks great. Have you bent the small spruce by the pool filter yourself or has it grown like that by itself?
