I'm an esthetician and I really feel like people shouldn't use microderm at home, first of all 90% of peole don't know how to use it (you have to hold the skin taut while using it, otherwise you can break the skin or afterwards have broken capillaries, or that you can't tan because you can get hyperpigmentation) second of all if your not educated you don't know the contraindications (pregnancy, RetinA, waxing in the last 7 days, chemical peels, broken capillaries and many more) and third of all people don't know after care (no waxing and chemical peels for 7 days, no exfoliation, use SPF, avoid excessive sun exposure which means no tanning, no exercising for 24h, change pillow cases, no makeup for 24h, wash brushes) and how often can you use it (once a week or every two weeks), hope thats helpful ☺️

Ahh and you should only go twice on area because you can bruise and they are totally false it is not normal to bruise!!! When done correctly no brusing should be visible!

+ameena bajuneid you can try putting cold compress on bruising, but there's not much you can do about that other than covering it with make up, and what kind of irritation you got? Was it after doing microderm?

I would really find it helpful if you did another video 2 weeks after the first use then on the 30 day mark to show the true improvement of your skin. This was a great video!

I enjoyed this review you did 😁 Have you tried any different microderm radio devices since this video in 2015? I'm putting one on my Christmas list but which one should I list? I have watched a few reviews & it seems that I would prefer the diamond tip device vs the disc type. I think the discs would get expensive over time.... Please let me know soon if possible.. Xmas is right around the corner lol

I'm not one to push products but anyone with persistent acne and bad hyperpigmentation/scarring should definitely give this a go, it's made a mindblowing difference in the 2 months I've had it and I barely ever get active breakouts and the scars are barely noticeable. I've tried so many things but creams, masks, cleansers, you name it only do so much and it gets expensive quick. It's ridiculously easy to use and as long as you moisturize well after (suncreens probably a good idea) and use it consistently you'll definitely have good results. Also to the estheticians saying you should go to a spa instead, the treatment for one session out of how many is what, like 150 bucks? No offense to your profession but it's really not rocket science

I’ve used mine the 2nd time tonight after using it 4 days ago, and really love how it pulls a red color to my skin surface, but I’m not getting much dead skin in the filter due to my daily exfoliating, just the red glow which is what we want to get our serums to soak in. Thanks!

FIVE MINUTES on ONE area of skin? You should only swipe a particular area of skin ONCE and then move on to the next piece of skin, i.e. If you're doing your 11 lines (between the eyes) you do ONE swipe over each line, holding the skin taught as you do so.

Hey, always wanted to try the at home dermabrasion but was scared a bit. I used to get hair laser removal and the lady recommended trying dermabrasion as well and I was against it because I thought hey, she's trying to make more money of me. A friend told me that her friend used to every week to get it done and saw no changes on her whatsoever. That's another reason why I never bothered to get it. But atleast u tried it and now we can all see if there are any changes with ur skin. So thanks for showing this video with us.

You put it on the skin but shouldnt apply any pressure. untill you get used to it and usually around every 2 to 3 weeks.
