Hey Julianne, could you please do an episode on how people with chronic pain illnesses (eg fibromyalgia) cope with mushrooms/lsd. Does it have any tangible effects on pain management? Weed works fine for milder pain (it also helps me resist vomiting my meds). I however still need meds because the pain relief tappers off after a whie. I'd prefer less smoking/need to find a suitable place before I can smoke. I also have to meditate the first 1-2 hours otherwise I get so zombie-like (and confused!) I'm at my wit's end with conventional medicine, I'd really appreciate your feedback Many thanks

@@jullietmburu9672 If it's any help I do find microdosing psilocybin combined with CBD helps with my chronic pain. I used to use THC and at times Kratom, but have found no need since I've been microdosing with CBD. I have a vape mod that I mix with no nicotine vape juice and CBD.

Unfortunately, I don't currently know much about psychedelics for pain management, although I've seen a bunch of comments from people who swear by it. Good luck with everything you're going through. I'm glad I've found you, you've convinced me to throw myself fully into micro-dosing psilocybin. I am going to attempt it for two months and see how my life changes. I'm in my mid twenties and depression has ran my life since the death of my father when I was a ten year old boy. I can't hold a job, I spend weeks and months in cycles of hermitting and have absolutely no interest in my hobbies. I escape on the internet and now the internet has brought me here. At the moment, I depend on weed to stay sane but even then, it turns me into a potato and I impulsively spend money on uber eats. All of this on top of abandonment issues and mild borderline which I recently just discovered... so late in my life. I remember my mushroom trip from last year, I spent weeks upon weeks illustrating, spending time with friends and enjoying simple things like the leaves and the trees. I miss that..

I'm glad to hear it. Thank you for taking the time to share this. You have no idea how much I relate. One of my worst stints with depression lasted 2 years and ended in a hospitalization - AND a diagnosis of BPD (which turned out to be CTPSD). This was YEARS before I discovered psychedelics. I only wish I'd known then what I know now! Congrats on your decision to take a chance on getting better. Wishing you nothing but the best (and I do feel it will go well for you).

@@conacc Yes on the cross-tolerance. All the classic psychedelics exhibit cross tolerance since their effects target the same neurotransmitter receptors (LSD, psilocybin, mescaline, ayahuasca).

have you ever tried taking microdoses of psilocybin and LSD together? Just curious to know if the psilocybin might attenuate some of the anxiety brought on by LSD?

I think they work on the same neural pathways because cross tolerance between LSD and psilocybin exists. If anything, i've found that CBD helps take the edge off anxiety!

I was listening to a podcast recently where the scientist did a study on rats and found that you can microdose every day for months on end or every 3 days, etc. BUT every other day for 5 months made the rats aggressive. They consider the behavior irreversible. Have you heard of this?

Mmm define "mystical." I've had nice walks in the park while on a "microdose," where I felt more connected with nature. Then again the term "microdose" is somewhat subjective. I was taking 150 mg caps of golden teachers at the time and I'm 5'5" and 125lbs.

Julianne Keu I don't know Julianne.i guess it's possible.the only reason I attribute this state of interconnectedness with the quantum observer to the psilocin,is because I took it same day.literally an hour prior to workout.however you may be right one has nothing to do with the other... very possible.

Liquid form I find works great. 5ug-10ug, motivation increases with energy levels. Depression totally goes away. Stamina In the gym is ridiculous weight lifting and cardio which I don't hear anyone mention. I stopped craving vaping and quit pretty easily using LSD.
