Ah yes, a wholesome battle between Microsoft Edgeworth, Firephoenix, and Google Chromaya. Personally, I’m a Chrome user, so I’m on the winning side of this argument, thank goodness. I _do_ use Safari on my Apple devices alongside Chrome, however, because on my iPad, Safari is just better. It’s just as fast and convenient as Chrome is, and even more secure than Firefox because it’s made by Apple, and they are crazy about security.

I use Safari on mobile, and Firefox on PC because it has by far the best add-on support. (Chrome has been getting progressively worse on that end - starting next year, they won’t even allow adblockers to run on Chrome.)

I started using firefox instead of chrome a few years ago and I've never looked back tbh. Especially on mobile. I happen to like having an ad blocker and other add-ons when I need to look something up on my phone

@@kelpseyyey its faster than chrome, allows you to import data from whatever browser you were using before, + opera gx allows you to control how much resources its using therefore, the best browser? opera (gx)

Hold it! The best browser is Opera GX. It doesn’t take up as much RAM as Chrome, it has access to Twitch and Spotify on a dime, has a built in VPN, and can make every tab and website have Dark Mode.

Brave is definitely one of the correct answers. Doesn't usually lag, blocks out ads, malware, phishing attempts, has its own VPN and best of all you can download pretty much all the video files out there onto a playlist for offline use.

I've heard brave is really good and protects privacy, but BAT isn't super useful for me. Firefox does the job a lot simpler, in my opinion.

Opera is just reskinned Chromium with a bunch of added features. Firefox is one of few major browsers that don't rely on Chromium and thus don't have Google's influence.

If anything, I use Edge cause I couldn't deal with Chrome and Firefox kinda...uh...slowing down...a lot...at times...but maybe that's cause I had a bad computer in the past. Still. Couldn't handle it so I just gave up and went "Oh screw it, I won't bother."
