Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 2009
Two years after he and his Autobot friends saved the Earth from the Decepticons, Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) faces a new battle: college. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and the Autobots are working with a secret military organization and trying to make a home for themselves on Earth. When an ancient Decepticon known as The Fallen rises up to wreak vengeance, Sam and his girlfriend, Mikaela, must figure out the history of the Transformers on Earth and find a way to defeat The Fallen once and for all.

They already seen the other movies, they dont need to wait for it. The content of the fallen is why they believe its the worse. Thesis was the movie where ppl saw the downgrade. Then the racist characters and writing. The last knight was entertaining for what it is.

I have a Discord friend that's a film major. One time a couple years ago I told him we were having a movie night and put this movie on just to see what he'd think of it. In my whole life I have NEVER witnessed a man go through the five stages of grief in a more spectacular fashion than my friend attempting to sit through this masterpiece. Absolutely priceless

Fun fact: When they were rendering Devastator, it blew up a few computers. He was supposed to be a lot more detailed and be in more scenes but it got to a point where it wasn’t affordable to keep buying computers for every shot.

The Transformers lore goes some really weird places. Transformers Not only wiped out the dinosaurs, but they also interacted with King Arthur and aided the Underground Railroad. There’s even a scene where they reveal that a Transformer assassinated Hitler by disguising itself as his watch.

Fun fact, the only Autobot introduced in this movie who appears again (with lines) in the third is Sideswipe, the one with wheel feet who blew up a decepticon with a sword and said “damn I’m good.”. He’s my favorite.

Actually, the twins weren't meant to be racist. Bay stated that the twins were wannabe gansters after learning Earth's culture though certain part of the internet. Tom kenny did say voicing skids was a bit weird but both he and the voice actor for mudflap said they never thought of the twins as racist, bay told them to use their experience from voicing other characters(voice actor for skids voiced wheelie, voice actor for mudflap voiced frenzy) and spin it on how the twins were meant to act. Just thought I'd clarify and give a fun fact, they're not meant to be racist, just meant to be idiots Edit: also the twins were meant to be in the third movie but were cut, you can actually still see their car forms in a couple of shots, for instance when all the autobots first enter the nest base

Trivia about the movie: the reason Sam's hand is bandaged in Egypt is because Shia got into a bad car accident during filming while drivinh drunk and hurt his hand. They worked it into the plot by making his hand get burned by the space bridge.

3:49 so ye they were and very few were autobots, never the less cybertronians in general were trying to fix it but Megatron and Orion Pax (young Optimus) became polotics people and fought for freedom, then megatron and some decepticons used violent protest, got into office, and every thing was alright for a while... but then started using dark energon which is essentially cocaine food that makes you evil and then they started doing warcrimes and the autobots were like "aww shit! we need to build a resistance and fix this"

I once got talking to a group of guys in the lobby of a theater who were going to see Transformers but their showing had started half an hour ago. Their words "It's okay, though, we're only paying to see the final fight scene anyway. No one goes for the plot." And wow. That has to have been my favorite interaction with strangers.

Fun fact: Voice actor Kellen Goff once stated in a viewing of this movie on JobbytheHong’s channel that this movie was his comfort film and that he saw it with his dad in the imax 27 times the time he watched it with jobby was his 30th viewing so he saw it at least 30 times 😂

When this movie came out I watched a pirated copy and to protect it the film had all its scenes shuffled into the wrong order and it made as much sense when we watched it when they were in order 😂
