They had to put Jared Leto in a wheelchair just to get production moving faster.

Ya know what's funny? Morbius needed constant blood transfusions before he well, morbed. So essentially, all that happened is that he's essentially cured of his condition, can use any blood he has on hand, doesn't need to be hooked up to a machine for the transfusion AND gets superpowers in return.
