I love Rosamunde Pilcher’s books! Her shorter books always seem like summer reads to me but I like them too. 😊

Hi there! Your KZfaq channel is one of my favorites, and I always enjoy watching your videos. They're incredibly informative and have helped me learn a lot. However, I've noticed a few things that could be tweaked in your recent uploads. Looking forward to seeing more great content from you.

Rosamunde Pilcher is one of my German mother’s favourite authors - when I grew up, I’d often find my mum reading one of her books in the garden. I’ve never read one myself though, and now you’ve made me want to check them out!

Yes, the covers definitely look like the kind of thing my Mum would read. I think I do like Mum's books at this point haha. It's been very good so far.

Yes, do go back and read The Curse of Chalion. It’s great. Coincidentally, I just started reading Bujold’s Shards of Honor today. Had a random urge to reread it. The Small House at Allington was my first read this year. So good. My favorite was Johnny Eames in all of his glorious hobbledehoy-ness. Seemed to me that Trollope had a lot of fun writing his character.

@@MarinaK03 I for some reason have only read The Warrior's Apprentice in that series, maybe because shards is more standalone or something? Yes I love Johnny Eames too.

I Who Have Never Known Men is so brilliant. I want both of your anticipated reads too 😊 and that book about the East India Company looks great. I’m planning a Barchester Chronicles read next year. I’ve only read Trollope’s The Way We Live Now. Great responses to this tag 😊

@@RaynorReadsStuff Barchester is much warmer than TWWLN, which is kind of out of character for Trollope in its anger. It's a fun and varied series.

Hi Aaron, 👋🏽 I hear you in regards to TJR...I was on a TJR swing until Carrie Soto...I have not heard a positive review from a trusted source so I just stopped reading her work. My favorite TJR to date is the novella Evidence of the Affair. The Shell Seekers is a book I would like to read. I have also been meaning to read September and Winter Solstice, in their respective seasons.

Oh, that's a good idea, I will get the seasonal Pilcher books too. The Shell Seekers is quite a summer feeling so it fits.

Great vid. I Who Have Never Known Men sounds really intriguing I’ll have to pick it up. If you want another Le Carre and don’t mind jumping ahead Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy is excellent.

I've been deeply confused by the film twice, so I think the book is not a bad idea haha!
