This slower format is wonderful to setup a spread alongside you. 🥰 Great idea for the check-in. I am moving to a new journal as well so this spread is one I’m going to add at the beginning of the new journal for some continuity. Love your sensibilities and journaling style. Thanks Erin! 🌸

I love having a monthly reflection in my journal. It's more focused on what I'm feeling rather than looking at things like successes and finances etc. but I am thinking of doing a quarterly check in for those categories in the second half of the year!

I think this is a great idea. I might do something similar. I usually do an end of month journal but this might be a good idea to focus the mind on the things that went well or could use some work.

Ahhh such a relaxing video! Love the spread and the ideas behind it. I've not long started a goal planner which I am finding so helpful! Eventually I hope to encorpoate it into my bujo too. Hope you are well xo

The best part of a full work day, if it's one I need to be on camera for - from shooting to editing, thumbnail, subtitles, blog post etc. For this one it was 20 minutes shooting and maybe 2-3 hours to turn it around with editing and voice over. I didn't do a blog post for it though so that made it faster too!

That was such a nice video. I didn’t know That I enjoy real time planning so much! You could do it perhaps with a monthtly planning video (Just music as background is fine although I like when you Talk but it s too much work) ? 🙃

Maybe! It was a bit of an experiment haha - if I sped this one up it would have been a very short video! I’m so glad you liked the slower pace!

@@ErinSmith it was a whole new experience in real time. So fascinating to actually see how long it takes. You made it with such a calm atmosphere that is was relaxing while very interesting (if that makes sense 😅). What speed are the normal videos?

It depends a bit on what I'm doing, but I tend to start out at 2.5x and gradually get faster as the video goes on, especially if it's repetitive! Sometimes if I'm adding a lot of numbers or drawing a lot of lines I throw it onto 1000% speed!

@@ErinSmith thank you, I’m interested in the „tech side“ of your videos, too. It’s hard to imagine how long a spread takes time in real life :)
