57yrs old born and raised here. Midlothian Texas. I know this place very very well. All the çrèeķs small lakes multiple springs. Very rich in quarts.

LOVE Midlo!! Moved here in 1997 and the growth has been incredible. Great people here. Taxes aren't low... but city amenities have increased and are well maintained. Both my kiddos went kinder through graduation in these schools and I highly recommend. Super easy commute to Dallas or Fort Worth. In fact my husband commutes all up to North Ft Worth, next to the Texas Motor Speedway. Easy drive to most major venues and to see Dallas Stars, Cowboys, Rangers, etc.

Nothing against the town or its residents but It’s the cement capital of Texas. I’d pass on living there because of the long term cardiovascular and respiratory health issues of sulfer dioxide exposure in high concentrations over a prolonged period of time.

I was born and raised in Midlothian and live in the downtown area. I would agree with most of the things this gentleman says. We are growing fast so there are some pains. Overall wonderful place to live.

You are nuts if you think anything in Midlothian is even remotely cheaper. Houses have been selling for 50 to 100k over asking price. Growth has exploded for the past ten years. There really is no country left here. The taxes have gone up so much our farmers are selling out, developers are stripping all of the old growth trees and building as many houses as close together as they possibly can on as small of a space as they can. Oh, Woodrow's Coffee shop has been out of business for a few years, Campuzano's is no longer here and the crime rate is climbing. We do have lots of overpriced and unaffordable apartments now! We've got that going for us!!

I’m glad you are speaking the truth. I’m a former President of the Midlothian Area Historical Society and every time a new housing development goes up it makes me sick. We still run cattle but are surrounded by housing developments on all sides. Our views are horrible now.

Town I went to middle and highschool in. Town I grew up in. Completely trashed now. It was a nice small town farm town now it’s a big city feel. Absolutely ruined
