The album consists of a 15 songs-CD and a 8 songs DVD, mainly from the "GenEi -Envy Phantom-" series, including "The Third Heart", "Fireflies Never Came", and "Mirage". The package is a special edition designed and produced by HarumakiGohan under the theme of "transparency," and includes a 68-page A5 story and art book, including a comic picture book and setting data.
The "GenEi -Envy Phantom-" series consists of three hearts: the full album "GenEi EP -Envy Phantom-[CD+DVD+Artbook]", the smartphone game "GenEi AP - The Empty Heart", and the one-man live "GenEi LV-HarumakiGohan Oneman Live 2022-A Tale of Shadows". We hope you will enjoy the series throughout.

So, at the end, Mikage becomes the little mermaid who threw herself to the seas and disappeared into bubbles after her love becomes unrequited. Mermaids in some folklores also known to drag unsuspecting sailors into the deep. Its a possibility that Mikage's the one who dragged Spica into the deep.

OMG I wasn't expecting it to be for Mikage's Diary but I'm so glad that it was THIS IS INSANELY BEAUTIFUL AND WELL MADE and DEPRESSING but still cute, the dresses are beautiful and they fit so well with the environment, it reminds me of that telescope cup planets place in geneiAP (which was my favorite place in the game) also the color schemes in just the entirety of GenEi are *chef's kiss* and they fit so well together got up at 5 am in my time to watch this and It was 100% worth it, AMAZING WORK

Haven't played the game or anything, but does anyone know why the MV version has an entire new stanza that replaces the initial piano buildup and humming portion of the album version? The change is living rent free in my head lol. Edit: Wait, I just realized that the final two lines of that stanza,「きらきら浮かぶ言葉 / もう忘れちゃうけれど」, (or as that other English commenter translates: "those twinkling, floating words / may end up forgotten soon") alludes to the fact that she does forget the words (in this case, the lyrics) in the album version, and thus resorts to humming said stanza...jeez.

tried my hand at translating this song into english! i'm not as fluent as i'd like to be, and some lyrics could be interpreted in different ways, but the song's structure was simple enough that i could translate without referring to a dictionary :) mikage's diary cloudy and sunny after the rain so gentle, surely sunny those twinkling, floating words may end up forgotten soon this sea, this sky, was all for you i couldn't tell anyone, because i'd hidden myself until now this moment, this voice, will go to you along with the spring wind cloudy and sunny after the rain always sunny, just as it is i left the textbook behind in a place i can no longer return to melancholy-colored*, cowering, i wasn't myself if i became someone who couldn't lose, it was all for you my useless mind, filled only with witty replies my transparent [ mikage ]** mind a cloudy dream after the rain staying as we are, was a dream all along and by your side, a black shadow this sea, this sky, your dress how about if we scatter the stardust from the night sky my tiny heart, impossible to wear on my sleeve*** my transparent [ mikage ] heart i shut out that spoonful of happiness even if i forget you, the words will still remain in the tired, faded pages of my diary my transparent [ mikage ] diary * the word i translated as "melancholy-colored" is read as "yuushoku," which just means "melancholy." though the word is pronounced differently, with "shoku" kanji read as "iro," which means color. ** since mikage's name is a play on words, it could be taken as "shadowy" or 'transparent" *** a more literal translation to this line is "one sleeve, unable to pass through, [ my ] tiny heart," but the english phrase "to wear one's heart on their sleeve," meaning to be emotionally open, is something that mikage is unable to do.

This song is beautiful and this MV is absolutely amazing! It makes me cry a lot, to be honnest. I don' t have the words to explain how the story in ENVY PHANTOM and the characters are dear to me. Every songs on this album are huge comfort songs for me. I love Mikage so much, she is no only relatable but also very unique and so cute. I love how her thoughts are explained, it' s always very raw yet really sweet. Just thinking about her made me cry a lot of times. I can' t help but wish the best for her. I love how sweet Spica and Yuuhi are, I really admire them. Urara is... mysterious? I really like it. The concept of a character who always sleep is funny but kinda concerning once you learn all the things that happens on dream planets, especially since she is a friend of Mikage and that... hum... Unmei??? The whole friend group with Mikage, Spica, Yuuhi and Urara is amazing, pretty cute, even hilarious some times. Thinking about them makes me so happy and helped me a lot. This series is incredible, I' m looking forward Harumaki Gohan' s future works!!

Actually, the subtitles on Harumaki Gohan's MVs tend to be... less than accurate. They usually get replaced on the Vocaloid Lyrics Wiki. As for this song, a translation for the beginning can be found on the Harumaki Gohan wiki (yes that's a thing).
