I've been a leaf fan for all my years and have had season seats since the 60's and I'm jacked up to have Mike on the Leafs!! Class act all the way!! Go Leafs Go

first class, best result for all of hockey, embracing the challenge; i love what he says about Pavel, Zetterberg, Kronwall. end of one chapter, start of a new one, in a great book

20+ year Leaf fan here. Can't wait to see what he does for our City/team. Safe to say we have spent money worse (DION). These guys had no respect for the previous coaches. Let's see how Phil responds when he's told to stop eating a whole pizza to his face every night. Good things on the horizon for T.O!!!

daryl darichuk I think we have spent worse money on Clarkson. Dion is a solid top 2 or 3 Dman on a top team.

For your info. Some russian players was using my private lessons, trickshots, some other techniques, where I expect compensation for that, Still I hear nothing. I lived there, in Ural, but from 1991 I live in the USA. Red Wings can contact me for explanations.

I predict Detroit will continue to win (well not their economy, I mean Mr. I's hockey team) I also predict the Maple Leafs will continue to be cellar dwellers - I don't get why they need a head coach, when they have so many back seat coaches. The only way Mike Babcock will be successful in Toronto, is if he can convince them to return to Campbell Conference

On the positive side both those predictions were completely wrong.

oh and this "emotional" speech, makes Babcock look like a fraud. He never got this emotional when he back stabbed Disneyland.
