Have you been in one? We get some deliveries in them, for work. They're freezing in the winter and boiling hot in the summer. No amount of insulation will fix that.

As my late grandmother would say, regarding the prices being charged for what were once simply "sheds", "My stars and garters! Are they drunk?". It's amazing how expensive "sheds" have become since they first hit the market. Back then they were the way contractors kept otherwise idol crews busy and, on the payroll, when new home construction was stagnant. The single most unusual such building that The Lovely Bride and I have ever looked at/toured was "Aamish built" in Maryland near the Pennsylvania line. It was an honest to goodness two story with a staircase between the two floors, wired for residential power, set up for plumbing and it looked like a shrunk down Victorian style home. It was also fully insulated to PA standards. In 2012 the price was $65,000.00 delivered! In 2019, when we moved back home to South Carolina, we purchased a three-bedroom brick home w/a stand-alone garage, and two acres of land for $65,000.00. So yeah, those folks in MD/PA were smoking something illegal. By the way, many, not all of course, sheds/storage buildings like those you looked at in this video were/are built from what any halfway honest contractor would call scrap lumber and insulation materials. That does not make them bad....Just a wee bit questionable when it comes to longevity. Excellent video! Keep 'em coming!

The first shed place you went to is an old hickory dealership.. they have a decent online 3d builder that lets you design a shed any way you want (with all the costs). We just designed a 10x20 lofted shed with tons of 3x3 windows , double barn doors with windows and a side barn door … it’ll be our back yard bar as soon as we get it. For the price of these sheds, we chose to design our own exactly the way we wanted instead of settling for what was on the lots

Hey Eric, Tim here in the maroon CRV… Lol I don’t know how else to make my intro. So you know who I am but… I have a friend that sells those Graceland buildings, Curt, and kendra. They have a lot in Quartzsite. They have a lot in Tonopah, Arizona, and one up by Laughlin, you need to go talk to him talk to Curt tell him that you know me Tim and Jill my puppy and see what he will get you one of those buildings for he is a dealer for Graceland and I’m pretty sure if you mention my name and Jill‘s he will give you a lot better price than those… he has three locks so he’s pretty tight with Graceland buildings Couldn’t hurt to ask I can let him know that you’re gonna go talk to him if you’d like they’re great people anyway, not a fan of your sidekick there. Hopefully he grew up a lot because I used to watch him occasionally and between you and Kevin and some of the others but he was kind of …..well I’m just gonna leave it at that so hopefully he’s grown up a bit but anyway give Curt a call you know and I can’t remember the name of his business there in Quartzite but once again, mention that I sent you, Tim and Jill he’ll know who I am and get a price from him. He also has repose also great video talk soon.
