This is the first time I've seen Mike as himself, on a talk show or whatever else, and I've got to say his personality is not at all how I expected. Obviously he's a bit older now but still being the man that came up with all those goofy characters I would have expected him to be more animated. But he just seems gentle and very laid back. Cool.

LOL What I've learned is: don’t expect your parents to encourage you. There are parents who are not good at that at all, but they still might love you and care a lot about u. I've never heard one of my parents saying like: “you're doing so well at X” or “wow, did you really do that? u are great son”.. I used to be upset, but now I kinda understand them, they have their own universe, I can’t expect someone to be as I imagine them, I have to just accept what they are and don't judge them. We can't change people, specially by trying so.

+utubenotebanco Yeah, but Shrek is not "his" character. He created Austin Powers, Dr Evil, and Wayne Campbell. He based those characters off of people he knew. Writers and directors and producers from DreamWorks came to him with the Shrek character and asked if he would voice it. He didn't create Shrek. That's why I think Shrek is not on the stamp.

Seth Winters he only used a Scottish accent after he recorded it in a regular voice first and they didn't love it. it's a much more subdued Scottish accent than the one he did for fat bastard. his howard stern interview goes into it.

Holy fuck, one of the greatest managers in rock got punched by Janis Joplin while being high on acid. AND THEN THE NEXT DAY is told by Jimi Hendrix to become a manager just because he's Jewish. Tony Manero And who is Amy Hill. The fact you had to give your resume says it all. And you never met him nor know what he was going through. Every actor has a way of getting prepared for roles. He doesn't owe anyone anything and it was very rude of Amy to judge him bc he wasn't the person she wanted him to be. Mike is known for being shy as comedians often are so is Jim Carrey and many more. It is easy to look on the outside and judge. She worked with him but she didn't have that much time with him. Incredibly tacky and bitchy for her to dish about someone she doesn't know. Maybe Mike's impression from her is that she is a talentless no one. Lorne Michaels doesn't think he is a jerk and he actually has a working history with him unlike that D level nobody Amy. Don't be the same douchebag who believes gossip when you don't know him or his life

we used to hang out with him as kids, in west derby village, Liverpool with Ray, Sean and i. Am sure his uncle drove a hackney black taxi. we would also hang out in our woods, on the ralla =(railway) it was slow freight that run through village we would play footy =(soccer), we would light fires in the woods make dens and stay out late, etc etc. Last adventure we had he jumped on the end guard carriage, and the train sped up, he would not jump off, we didn't see him for a wk, as he was grounded. He was funny even as 9/10/11/ yr. old, Pete Best also lived in our village, he had the casaba club in his basement, we often walked past his house, singing Beatles songs. if you see this Mikey, come say hello R KID. i see you still got your accent m8. love and peace and thanks for the times as a kid and your movies.
