@@PeefRimgarGamesYou mean besides how Broderick Jones is now playing great and is the best guy on our offensive line? Or was it our second pick in the draft who is now our best cornerback and the fourth best guy on our defense? I'll consider it a failure and feel bad for Kenny if they don't find a good OC that will play to Kenny's strengths and properly utilize the amazing weapons they have on offense. Well, on the plus side Vrabel likes the 3-4 defense he played in under Belichick and he didn't change that when he took over Mike Mularkey's Titans. However, he did abandon the Erhardt-Perkins offence in favor of using the West Coast. Rooney will have to have a long talk with him about getting back to a run centric Erhardt-Perkins scheme.

Stinks kenny had a healthy killer defense and he couldn't score many points cause he couldn't keep drive sustained.

I'm getting tired of Heyward and others complaining that Mike Tomlin is getting picked on like a victim because some people want a change or are wondering if it's time for Tomlin and Pittsburgh to part ways. He's not getting picked on, he's just experiencing what every other coach experiences at some point in their career sooner or later. It comes with the territory. I mean, come on just look at Nick Sirianni in Philadelphia already -- winning record his first three years and a Super Bowl appearance but fans and media are already saying he might need to be replaced because the Eagles ended the season poorly. So, why are people whining because Tomlin is under fire by some people after 17 years and no playoff wins in 7 years?? It's silly.

Tomlin's Steelers are now one of just 9 teams that have not won a playoff game since 2016. Tomlin's Steelers has not won a playoff game in 7 years. Noll's Steelers never went more than 4 years. Cowher's Steelers never went longer than 3 years. Tomlin now is in firm possession of the longest Steelers playoff win drought in 50 years. Tomlin's Steelers have given up 166 points in their last 4 playoff games, despite always having one of the highest paid defenses year after year. They've been out scored 66-0 in the first quarter in the last 5 playoff games. 66-0. Tomlin's Steelers aren't prepared for these games. Tomlin's Steelers finishing around or slightly better than .500 every year, and sometimes lucking into the playoffs just to get embarrassed, is not a good thing. It's not to be cheered. Finish middle, draft middle, stay middle. And being mid doesn't win playoff games. It was yet another year of losing to really bad teams (setting the NFL record of losing back-to-back games to 2-win-teams to boot), lockerroom conflicts, social media drama, sideline meltdowns, unsportsmanlike like penalties, quitting on plays... Mike Tomlin will never will another playoff game. And as long as he's the head coach, then the Steelers will never win another playoff game. It's insanity to believe otherwise given the overwhelming amount of evidence.

Where you said finish middle, draft middle, winning slightly over middle. That is mediocre in my book and we all can obviously see that Tomlin’s Standard is mediocre. Oh is there any other black coach we can replace this one with? Any? Rooney’s will not fire him. He has to leave on his own or at least make it look like he is leaving on his own. Any other coaching location he’d been fired by now. And he wouldn’t last 3 years anywhere else. Tomlin knows this so he will never coach anywhere else. But I am praying some idiot owner who believes Tomlin is this wonderful coach would offer him more than the Rooney’s would, just to get him out of here. We need a complete fresh start.

Steelers coaches have traditionally had very long tenures. They've only had Noll, Cower, and Tomlin since 1969. It's the mark of an organization that's very stable, doesn't panic, and it has worked for them for decades. You can always count on them to field a competitive team. There have been off years, but they never seem to fall off a cliff. They need to figure out their offense and if Pickett is the right guy to run it, but there's no reason to panic.

Coach T is staying according to media, BUT Dan Rooney II has the final say. Winning seasons are good, but 3-9 in playoffs, and last 5 playoff loses have seen the opposing team score 30+ points each game. The Team needs a facelift, we have been outcoached and out played this entire year. Only bright side was Mason taken over for Pickett

Tomlin has drafted at best 3 HOF possibles in 17 seasons none of those 3 have won a Super Bowl and 2 of them have lost in every wild card game they played in and Cam Hayward was a back up behind Keisel in the AFC Championship loss the closes he ever got to any AFC championship game he also was in a wild card win but didnt play due to injury and the Steelers lost to the Browns in a wild card game Cam was playing in 2016 he has been on the losing end of every other wild card game since including the buffalo Beat Down this week

I’m an Australian Steelers fan so bare in mind I wasn’t raised with this game however… If I had my wish - coach Tomlin stays. Rudy is QB1. Kenny can fight for it back in pre season. I think Peterson is too slow and we’ve seen enough out of Rowe to move on from Peterson. I’d love to see us chase a WR to compete with DJ and then strengthen the O and D lines in the draft Maybe a qb3 in the 5-6th round. Rudy with a full preseason is deserved.

He coached a good game by starting with 21-0 deficit before halftime?? How does that make any sense? They didn't make adjustments. The bills sat on the ball after they were bc they had no fear of the steelers making a comeback. It could have been much worse.
