100% agreed, loved him when I was younger but as I got older I realized I probably shouldn't have. As much as I loved him then and do now, he was a piece of shit when he was younger. It’s been so heart warming to see Mike Tyson’s transformation over the years. He went from the tough guy who didn’t show emotion to being an open book. I remember back in the day when he lost his daughter he couldn’t talk about it for long before he had to walk out. Now he’s not afraid to cry in front of others, he’s really an inspiration

Tommy Shelby wrong. The only reason psychedelics are illegal is exactly because they don’t want you doing them. They dont want you to be free from your ego and spiritually awake. Hard to control people when they can think for themselves and realize whats going on. Psychedelics used in the proper way are literally healing medicines for the soul which is why shamans must prepare you beforehand. Back in the early 90's I was like 8 or 9 and Mike stopped what he was doing at an airport and walked over to me for a picture cause he heard me ask my dad if I thought he would pose in front of my dad's camera for me. That photo is one of my most cherished items. That's the champ.

Yes, there appears to be an awakening coming. I am suspicious though. ESPN is a mainstream channel obviously, it seems to me that they are trying to introduce dmt to the masses by associating it to an unsavory character therefore programing people to look down upon it without even finding out what it really is.

For everyone who doesn't know, toad venom is 5MEO-DMT, which is very different than NN-DMT, which is usually what people refer to when they say "DMT". NN-DMT is also the active compound in ayahuasca, however ayahuasca is ingested in part with an MAOI, which allows your body to digest the DMT. Ayahuasca trips are like NN-DMT trips that last 8 hours instead of the smoked version which lasts around 10 minutes.

Another anecdote that is rather ironic is that combining 5-meo-dmt with an MAOI leads to death, when N-N combined with an MAOI actually enhances the experience. Same family but different beasts (like how siblings are differeny people!).

To be fair he was leading mike to answers that he had already given in past interviews. With that context, you can see that dan was trying to make sure tyson spoke on the right content for the narrative. The whole shutting the ego off thing, was a revelation that came about from the jre interview. It's unfortunate that they don't seem to mention that the drug he did was 5MEO DMT, which is actually the lesser known type of DMT, and considered by many as the most powerful of all entheogenic drugs.
