Sometimes I wonder if you realize the great gift you have in Ashtyn, she works beside you like any other farm hand. Don't be afraid to show her the love and admiration she deserves for all the weight she carries. IF you wonder why I say this, visit Larson Farms site, Chet just lost his wife of 6 years to cancer at only 25, they were a great pair and lived life to the fullest, let her know how much she means to you and enjoy each other.

It’s not the land that’s inefficient, perhaps it’s the 84’ drill that’s not efficient on that particular land. 😂

Yeah, we only have fields like this in Norway, and it´s still inefficient with an 8 foot seeder.... Each corner might be faster, but you need to do it ten times more often. One thing you might wanna think about is all those turns on the headland. It compresses the soil like crazy. With GPS, once you have the layout saved - you could seed the headland last the next time, it will give better yield.

Love how your videos give an in depth look at the drill . Really highlights the beautiful simplicity of the design . As complicated as they look at first glance after watching them in action up close it's so apparent that they are very simple and efficient . Thanks for a great seeding adventure.

First of all Mike, love it when you take video either on top of the bourgault or walking with it. It's fascinating to see how it works an interesting how noisy it is. But when you dance around in front of the machine I hope you realize that if you were to trip and fall and Ashton ran over you that would be a hard thing for her to live, you need to be very careful.

Happy Canada Mike! I’ve watched 90% of your seeding videos and enjoyed them all. As a farmer myself in the same general area as you (I’m little further east), it’s nice to see what other farmers are trying or doing differently. You work so hard have so much energy, honestly I don’t know how you do it. Obviously you are well organized. Yes you are way younger than me but still you have so much drive. I was like that at your age. I sure hope you take time for yourself and you wife and get away. All work and no play isn’t good for your health. I know from experience! Take Care, David

Congrats on completing the season! I know it´s a while back, but it´s always a milestone. I´m really excited to watch your harvest from this land, and hoping you will compare a bit to what you have near the farm. I suspect a bit better yield, but also quite a bit higher cost because of the awkward shape. Good one, Mike! Have a nice summer!

Hi Mike. Thank you and congratulation, happy to see that the seeding season is over. I love your videos, I think I share with you the passion for farming . I hope the weather for the next months will be good for your crops, and you can avoid the drought they have in BC. Here on the farm in France, we are a few days before harvesting winter barley, but a week of rain is expected. So far, it's ok but I hope it won't last too long... Have fun and take care
