After first watching this video in 2016, now two years later in 2018 I can confirm that - judging from the panicky reactions on Muslim and Atheist websites to the book of Daniel - it is clear this book touches a Very raw nerve in Muslims and Atheists;-)

I took a Bible Lit class at my public high school when I was a Junior and they taught that these prophecies were about World War 1 or World War 2. I think Mike's interpretation makes more sense. But it was pretty wild to hear about the bear with 3 ribs in its mouth being the Soviets taking down Hitler's Third Reich. That's a rather fascinating idea.

I am watching this presentation for the 1st time and it's 2021. I found such a Blessing in the 'Defending Daniel' video after of it, I discovered this one on Daniel 7, 8. I have studied the 2,300 days scripture before, i am writing about it. I wonder how to reconcile Daniel 9's comming of the Messiah The Prince, which calculation of prophecy was based on the ' days per years ' formula proven perfect formula in Daniel 9 with the fulfillment of our Lord Jesus. Could it be also the Ssntuary word same meaning of the Book of Hebrews 8?

5:00 Neb is covered in detail in Da:4 and all the points are covered and the verse below shows that he was a believer without needing a middle-man to explain anything. Da:4:36: At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellers and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. Da:4:37: Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. The kings in Revelation start with Neb and the next 2 kings are named in Da:5 and 6. They are two ribs and Neb's son is the 3rd rib and that is the silver kingdom'. They rise up without having to invade in a massive war. 13:00 Da:8 and 9 happen in the time of the brass and that starts with Alex being the 1st king from Greece and the General that followed was the 2nd king. The 'little horn' verses apply to the rule Rome had over Jerusalem starting in 63BC and lasting until about 450AD. An examination of the list will show all events were completed by that time and the NT was complete by 100AD. Trampling the truth was going to a Latin Bible and that was sometime after Rome accepted the Greek NT and the Hebrew OT as being the 'Bible'. Some events listed are repeated as part of the 70th week so that whole block of time expired by 3 1/2 years after the cross. Acts:10 saw Peter preaching to the Gentiles and the message would have been the same as Paul delivered to the Gentiles. The Apostles were in Jerusalem until 70 AD delivering the same message and then they would have taught Jew and Gentile. Paul always went to a Synagogue to teach so his first flock was Jewish also. Luke:21:24 is when the Re:4 temple became the active temple and prayers from gentiles are heard there just as clearly as a prayer said by Daniel would be heard. That is also the temple at the start of Re:11 and the 42 months begins when the 1st trump sounds and ends on the same day the two witnesses are killed. 3 1/2 days later when they are resurrected Christ's temple that exists for the 1,000 years will become the valid one. Satan sets up some tents and brings in a false throne during the 3 days he has control of Jerusalem. Greece was scattered to the 4 winds so it ceased to be a 'great dominion' as demanded by the words for the brass from Da:2. Rome did become a great dominion and it was more like a cousin of the Greeks than being radically different. Being the same would be if the 10 clay toes were the kings, they are not, they are the servants of the kings that rule as the iron. Satan is even mentioned in the book of Daniel so it should come as a little shock instead of a big shock to know he is the iron and that makes him one of the kings in Da:11 as that kings loses to Michael, again. The 5th and 6th trumps have a period of 3 1/2 years and it expires on the day Jesus comes back. By the end of that day all 7 vials have been poured out and the resurrections have been completed so the people deemed to be part of the 1,000 year reign are alive and standing and knowing nothing about the Kingdom of God. 1,000 years later they are as wise as holy angels so the fire that sends fallen angels to the fiery lake goes around them and they are taken alive to the place the GWT is and because they have already been judged to be perfect they can enter New Jerusalem as soon as they get there via the verse below. Isa:51:6: Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. Heb:12:22: But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, Heb:12:23: To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 17:00 higher means it is in sequence rather than acting as a team. 18:30 4 kings arise out of Greece's rule over Jerusalem. If goat has a symbolic meaning it is to the goats in the Matthew:25 judgment of the nations. The iron/clay fights against the two witnesses and kills them and it is at their resurrection that the sheep/goats judgment takes place. The 4 horns means the 'little horn' verses are within that many rulers. No nation other than Rome became a great dominion as required in the Da:2 vision. The 'little horn' verse and the 70 week verses from Da:9 were completed by 33AD for the 70 weeks and 100 AD for the temple being taken down and 450 AD for the RCC to fall away from teaching the truth. In the Revelation counting Greece would be the 4th king and the 5th king would be 1 between Greece and Rome as Rome was the power in 100 AD and that is when Revelations was written. The 70 weeks verses refer to it as 'troublesome times' and that is the only reference. The 70 weeks have the cross being in the middle of the 70th week. The prophecy that is being fulfilled is the bruise to the heel from Ge:3:15 and that is why there are 4 witnesses to the event. The end of the iron/clay is the completion of the bruise to Satan's head and that is the last verse in Da:11 and Satan being in chains in Revelation. The first few verses of Da:12 reference the resurrection that follows and that results in the 1,000 year people all being alive. 24:00 only one General had control of Jerusalem so when Alex died there was no transition in power from the Greece. The silver has two lings as they are different nations. When the General lost control of Jerusalem the nation that took over would be the 1st of 4 winds. Rome could be the 2nd, 3rd, ort 4th king after and it would still be part of the brass. We know the history of Rome and we have the whole NT that was finished in the time Rome had control of Jerusalem. The sacrifice reference and the temple reference in the 'little horn' verses and the 70 weeks prophecy mesh in a few so they must mesh in all of them. The gap that has to be there to have an unknown day is introduced as the start of the time of the Gentiles in 70AD (Luke:21:24) and the 42 months at the start of Re:11 is the last of that time where Gentiles can repent their sins by saying the Lord's Prayer and they are heard in the Re:4 Temple. When the two witnesses die the temple will be the one Satan and the Beast set up that has a false throne standing in front of the altar and the serpent from Ge:3 will try and claim to be God. In Da:8 the transition is in the 'latter time of their kingdom' for all parts of the globe except Jerusalem and the first 4 trumps sound in 4 days and that results in martial law as we know it. The military can put places under siege if they want. When the 5th trump sounds those armies surrender to the king that is released in the 5th trump verses in 1 hour and 10 kingdoms are created with 10 men acting as kings who take their orders from the Beast from the Pit. In Noah's time the children of the fallen angels that are known as the giants would have been their servants and men would have only been the victims. Jerusalem falls when the two witnesses die so that is when the change to the iron/clay happen for the city of Jerusalem and the people would only be the 144,000 and they witness Satan's destruction and then the resurrection of the rest of the 12 Tribes so they are a complete people by evening of that same day. Da:23-27 is the transition to the iron/clay from the brass. With Rome being the 6th king in Revelations and being the 'little horn' from the brass makes Rome part of the leopard and the 4 wings that are there are the same as the 4 winds that scattered Greece. The 4th Beast is future as you said so the transition from the brass to the iron has to be future also. The verses from the end of Da:8 belong to the 4th beast verses from Da:7 as well as the iron/clay kingdom from Da:2 and all of Da:11 after the king stands up until Da:12:2 when his minions from mankind are put into the grave.

Most JW's that I know have done Daniel 7&8 years ago and Daniel 12 about the true knowledge becoming abundant. How many people love to hear the TRUE knowledge of Gods word and have cast off antiquated old church traditions invented by the Popes?

It's interesting to note that any other events over any period of time could also have fit the Daniel metaphors. In the Pt 1, Mike says that poetic prophecies are not to be considered. I understood that to mean that this kind of stuff could not be considered. I'm disappointed.

Quick question about that Lion reference: Ezekiel 17,3 speaks about an eagle not a lion. Jeremiah 4,7 speaks clearly about Babylon, so I guess that reference is correct. Do you think that eagle reference is linkt to the eagles wings or did you mean a different passage?

Ever try DIVIDING those 7 verses explaining Alexanders conquests? (2-8) But one cannot divide 7 verses so our only option is to also Divide the 5th verse. Then its just a matter of re-reading verse 3 thru the first half of verse 5 to see the USA in the Middle East. Then...use that as your template for understanding Daniel 11:36-45. God bless

Ezekiel 17:3 refers to Nebuchadnezzar as an Eagle. 19:3 doesn't refer to Nebuchadnezzar at all. Is there a different passage in Ezekiel?

I want to talk with Mike on this video. Though it is an old video I hope he has come to realize the four beast prophecy and the Statue prophecy are not the same. Ned is a tree in prophecy Meds and Persians are a Ram Alex is a Goat The Lion Bear Leopard and Fourth beast are kingdoms yet to be seen or are unknown to us Note the former are Herbivores 1 even being a tree! The latter are Carnivores Much more do I have to say regarding this to prove that they are separate prophecies. Would love a chance to talk with Mike regarding this part of the Bible. I’m confused. You said the 4th beast rises sometime in the future but the little horn that rises from the 4th beast is Antiochus? Jesus told his followers that when they saw the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in the holy place to run for the hills in Matthew 24 so he said that sometime after 30AD but Antiochus did the whole pig Zeus thing in 167BC. Also throughout Daniel the word “sacrifice” was added by the translator. It’s not in the original text. The word used is tamid which means continual and was used in reference to all of the temple ordinances, not just sacrifice.

Daniel 8.9-14 goes exactly with little horn in revelation. It says in Daniel the little horn grows to great power but not on his own(satan). 8:10 it grew up to the host of heaven and cast down some of the host and stars and trampled them. This is fall of satan, taking 1/3 Angel's or hosts of heaven and trampling them or facing Gods judgement. 11 he exalts himself as high as prince of hosts(claiming to be God) and takes away daily sacrifice and destroys the temple. This is exactly what anti christ does in revelation. Even called little horn in both prophecy, given power not his own, calls himself God in temple, removes sacrifice and destroys the temple. My belief is daniel is future prophecy and goes exactly with revelation.

Why didn't the writer or Daniel just say Nebuchadnezzar instead of crypticly, saying the beast, looks like a lion blah blah blah.

If you noticed that after the veil was rent into, that when that he didn't die going into the temple like this the Aarons sons were when they offered strange fire and were burnt to death. Jesus had cause the sacrifice to cease , and in Amos 5 he detest their solemn assembly and vain worship. He said he wouldn't smell them ,but he would ignore them. That is why this guy wasn't killed by God. The sacrifices had already ceased even though they were still doing them.

I'm a bit confused, I have heard other Christians claim that one of the beasts mentioned was the Roman Empire, I forgot what verse it is though. Also Can you point out where The Muslim empires, the European empires, and the United States is mentioned in the Bible, because all of them have played huge roles in Israeli history?

I got a different interpretation from my informants re: Nebuchadnezzar.. Daniel says he was driven from men, ate grass like an ox, and there was a copper and iron band around the stump of the tree (his neck). It wasn't 7 years, but 3 x 7 weeks; humans can't survive on grass, this was an advanced virtual reality he was in, he wasn't wandering around freely. They either synthesised or recorded an ox for the 21 weeks, and the collar sent the ox's sense impressions to his brain with all the details of the animal's life, both afferent and efferent and sensory. These messengers of Yahweh like to do very impressive things sometimes. Someone I knew who worked with them occasionally, 'smarted off' to them, so they put her naked on an iceberg in the ocean to "cool off" as they said, for maybe a half hour or so.

No it's not future vision yet. Go listen to City of God.

You did get one thing wrong though 1st and 2nd Maccabees are in the bible, you are just reading the wrong translation ; ) another thing that might help you understand the starting point of the "2300 day" prophecy would be to read it in the NABRE. It's not "2300 days" it's "2300 Evenings and Mornings". Every day there was an evening sacrifice and a morning sacrifice. That means 2300 evening and morning sacrifice's happened every 1,150 days. So a book that was written after the fact by unknown sources is proof? 1-6 is written differently and by a different person than the later added parts. This actually makes the one Ezekiel said sound good, at least there you were twisting things to make things fit rather than just having someone write down what had already happened. "WE" and every Jewish historian knows it was exactly: Maccabees 1:54 "On the fifteenth day of the month Kislev, in the year one hundred and forty-five,* the king erected the desolating abomination upon the altar of burnt offerings, and in the surrounding cities of Judah they built pagan altars." There is NO question, and the 2300 evening and morning sacrifices that are missed work out to exactly 3 years later on Kislev 25, again a WELL KNOWN DATE. (360 days per prophetical year x 3 years= 1080) + (2 leap months of Adar II = 60) + (Kislev 25-Kislev 15 = 10) 1150 Days or 2300 Evening AND Morning sacrifices. I strongly urge you to officially offer a correction to this video, stating the proper facts of the matter.

I enjoyed this a lot. I think you are incorrect regarding the little horn in Daniel 8 being Antiochus Epiphanes. 1. It breaks the pattern from Daniel 2 to Daniel 7 to Daniel 8. 2. The big horn that is Alexander the Great is called "very great". The little horn that comes up after is "exceeding great." This is the pattern in Daniel 2 and 7. The subsequent nation is more powerful than it's predecessor. That does not fit the generals who took power after Alexander's death, nor Antiochus himself. He ruled at the time of Selucid decline. 3. When it says it comes up "out of them" the "them" being referred to is more likely the for winds, not the horns based on Hebrew grammar. Pushing eastward and southward and to the holy land is also the path Rome took as an empire and as the papal power during the crusades. 4. The abomination of desolation is the destruction of the temples, not Antiochus' blasphemy. All the other fulfillments fit Rome as well. Especially where it mentions the Prince of the covenant. That's not a priest, it's Jesus. When Jesus was killed, the sacrifices were taken away and nailed to the cross literally and ceased spiritually, then for good when Rome destroys the temple.

A better example than the last one. You are still showing a degree of ignorance to prophesy. Much of these prophesies came from Nebuchadnezzar's dream and Daniel being close to kings and kingdoms as one of their major advisers would have been well aware of the political landscape so it is not beyond belief that he could anticipate many if not all the events since though plausible are not beyond being interpreted by hindsight without them being written after some of the events. Really though i would be impressed if you had spoken on the fulfillment of Isaiah 2:2 since Utah (the name given by congress not the Mormons) translated means top of the mountains and the temples built there are very literally built right out of the mountains. And the word of the Lord has very literally gone out to all nations from there. In addition several of those temples were built long before the generation referred to by Joseph in what you deem his false prophesy died showing a potential fulfillment of that prophesy as well. Remember who you are trying to speak to. Atheists can and will question your interpretation of any prophesy no matter how plausible that it may have been for knowledge. Without an additional witness or 3 your case is easily dismissed as wrong interpretation. Fortunately for my faith I can point to dozens of independent witnesses not the least of which is the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith since evangelical evidence is as flimsy as the rice paper that the Bible is often printed on.

Daniel had some dreams and wrote them down. He or later writers interpreted those dreams as metaphors to fit the political climate. This sums up Daniel 7-8. Honestly, if God had the power to give predictive visions to people, why doesn’t he just get to the point and give explicit details, not metaphors? If this prophesy had said that a prophet named Jesus would be born and develop a following, Pilate would order him crucified after which his following would grow as oral legends of Jesus spread and were embellished, the first account of Jesus would then be penned decades after his death and is therefore unreliable, and about 2000 years later Mike Winger would be making KZfaq videos, THEN I would be impressed.

it's not simple reasoning when you intentionally represent the so-called "evidence" which doesn't meet the criteria to actually be evidence, especially as you're making a fallacious conclusion based on trying to make things fit your predetermined conclusion. this video provided nothing but hearsay. you could literally make nearly any argument you want and still wouldn't have any validity.
