Mikey fought Spence because it was a win win. If he won he would make history and still be champ at a lower weight. If he lost they would say he lost to the bigger man and he would still be champ at the lower weight. He was ducking Loma. Period. If Loma beat him he would have gotten smashed by a smaller man and lost his title. While Spence isn't given credit for his win, Loma would get all the credit in the world.

Karlo Rodriguez You can say what you want. But Mikey is on the run. Loma has called him out numerous times, and Mikey keeps running. Just so you know, I am a fan of Mikey’s. But it’s pretty easy to make the fight happen. Mikey needs to stop with the running and fight Lomachenko. He has no business trying to continue at 140 or 147, he will only continue to get smashed in those weights just like Spence did to him. Loma has called him out and has basically begged for this fight. So make it happen instead of chasing unrealistic dreams.

He was the first guy to take Spence to 12 rounds. But at the end of the day I'm pretty sure he beats Loma when they finally face eachother, he's just to big for him like Spence was for mikey. Plus hes the best at 135 and 140 nobody can beat him at that weight right now. So yeah mikey still gonna go down as a legend when its all said and done. He lost to the best at 147 in the world no shame in that.

Knew he would vacate at 135, so no surprise. But, to continue at 147 is a shocker. Never seen Mikey take a beating before the Spence fight. Not sure I have the stomach to see another Mikey beating. Great fighter at 140 or 135. Below average fighter at 147. Slower, weaker, not as quick and the list can continue on. Hope we are not front row watching the end of Mikey. But, I fear if he stays at 147, we will witness a terrible end to a really great boxer.

He will lose to that hyped loma in lightweight division but if he fight loma in 147 welterweight,he will also lose but in a closer decision than what spence did to him.so in lightweight loma vs mikey,mikey will lose the same way like he loss to spence at welterweight.theres weight differences and advantages.

Lomachenko is not even a Jr. Welterweight where Garcia can stay at 140 if he chooses to. These two guys are among the best in Boxing, they should Fight at the Weight that allows them to be most effective and it's not at Welterweight! just Just my opinion.
