One of if not THE BEST ANIMATED MOVIE OF ALL TIME

I'm black and I remember that when Miles was introduced back in 2011, I didn't give a care in the world about him because it looked like a weak attempt to throw a black character into the media. I always hated that when people say they need more diverse characters, they immediately think of a black person. After the movie came out 7 years later, Miles Morales has become my personal favorite of Spider-man; not for his race but how is was so expertly handled in the movie. One of the things that made me love Miles so much when watching Into the Spider Verse was that he is an original character of story. How? because so many black characters that are made, the story line behind the character has to fight through is always the whole fighting against discrimination and prejudice crap; that story line for black characters has been getting old. Miles' story is completely different, original, and can relate to other people. Another thing I like about Miles in his movie, he is a hero who does not try to fight for a girl. A hero doesn't always need to have some girl in his fucking life as a prize in his hero work; no kissing scene whatsoever for Miles as a hero, I swear, if I see the girl getting introduced as the character's crush by watching her walk down the school hallway in slow motion and waving her hair to the side and smiling at others one more time, I will give the producers a black eye. And lastly, Miles' motivation is completely justifiable. Ever since I was 14, I always hate how teenage characters in animated stuff or movies are always rebelling against their superiors or elders and not following orders believing that they can fucking do shit on their own as if they are fucking ready. Just like how my classmates rebel against our teachers. Miles is actually rebelling because he made a promise and wishes to keep it and doesn't want to let the person he made that promise to down, and I freaking admire that! It reminds me when I went behind my parents back to get some meat, crackers, juice, bread, chips, and water in a bag and my brother and I would take the bag to this homeless person who need it. I admire teens who rebel against their elders for a good reason and only when the elder is being a complete shit case. Also, he feels guilt for doing nothing to help so he is trying to make up for it. He is a teenager who is rebelling for good reason. I freaking love that. I had Miles all wrong back in 2011 but thanks to Into the Spider Verse, I have a new found respect for him and he is my personal favorite as Spider-Man. I don't like characters because they are the same color as me, I like a character just as character, how his/her story goes to make me like them and how I feel relatable to them. I have been in Peter Parker's shoes before but I am black. I don't need to relate to someone because of skin color. I relate to characters not because they look like me, I relate to them because they are a human being like me. Spider-Man has been my favorite superhero since 2001 so I say "EXCELSIOR"!

This is why Spider-Man will always be the best Superhero. Not because of his commitment to the people. Not because of his one liners. Not because he's got mad skills in several areas. But because there's so many different versions of him/her out there; and there's something for everyone.

Miles has made both Peter Parkers of both Universes proud. And, he more than deserves to be the new Spider-Man. He's a worthy successor to the name. And I look forward to seeing how he'll carry on the legacy.

So crazy how the ending when Gwen calls for miles changed. In the orignal and the first ATSV it Miles vibing, while in the actual movie, miles is just annoyed and just listening to music to calm himself, but whats interesting is how the entire scene was reanimated from the trailer

out of all final swings in the spider man movies this one is best hands down, he got so much creativity with it.

I don't think there's any other superhero as inspiring as Spider-man for the youth. we've all got our problems and issues, so does Peter Parker/Miles Morales, but we all are superheroes in one way or another. It's the goodness in ourselves that makes us one. that goodness hides behind the mask, that mask is our heart. You don't have to have superhuman powers or be rich or be the chosen one and whatnot to do good things. Spider-man is all of us. behind the mask, that hidden guy/girl could be anyone. This scene’s music is just poetic, while the scene plays you hear the main type of superhero music from many movies,but you can also hear some type of hip hop music as-well showing miles’ independence and how he’s different from the other spiders. It’s like his little spider anthem like how spider Gwen has her drums when she first shows up or how spider ham has that old looney toons type of music when he’s introduced, but the icing on top of this beautiful music is the way you hear that distorted elephant noises and scratching dj sound. Which is very similar to the prowler’s theme aka miles’ uncle. Showing that he looked up to his uncle and adapted from some of his skills to make his own. Truly a musical masterpiece

I can basically interpret the ending as being in his dream in which miles imagines gwen visiting him in his universe just so she can crash into him as in the sequel across the spider verse he is slighter older around 15 yrs of age as when we saw him last time but he is still kind of wearing the same shirt like in the previous movie but kind of altered slightly so yeah I can guess this ending did come back in a different way.

The scene that got me the most in this scene was when Peter hit the doorbell and got to restart with MJ after all the sadness in his life he went through and how they showed throughout the entire movie how he basically was going to give up his life and die trying to save the other spideys cause he didn't care anymore. So seeing him get together again with MJ is amazing and so happy. Also what made this movie amazing was how well rounded and rooted it was to spider-man along with the chemistry between Myles and Peter, yes with gwen it was cool and believe it or not, Gwen Stacy as Spider-Gwen is his main romantic interest, but it doesn't rival how amazing the bond between him and Peter was in this film, it was amazingly written and done. One of my favorite Movies of Spiderman ever! And to think it was 3 years ago it when this was made is crazy. Feels like yesterday

I saw this movie when I was having a hard time in my career. I felt like a imposter amongst people who had been doing the trade I choose to start in for decades. It’s haunting and crushing to think that you’re the only one in your situation and that you can’t be something you want to be. But then this movie told me “anyone can do this, you can do this.” and I was never alone. They may have had decades of experience but they all started out like me in some way. So yeah no matter what you think, you can wear the mask

I love that the whole point of ITSV was that "anyone can wear the mask." And then Miguel's whole schticknin ATSV was "you are an anomaly, you were never meant to be Spider-Man." Miles spent the first film _showing_ us that Miguel is wrong, and sets up a clash.
