It’s so sad when you learn that this Earth’s Peter Parker was never supposed to die. He was basically the peak of what every Spider-Man wished to be. He was funny, witty, skilled, strong willed, lighthearted, wholesome, and basically had all the basic principles of what made Spider-Man who he was. I still think he would’ve been a great mentor to Miles.
@lavadragon6444

I think he was just at his peak. His Captain Stacy event likely hasn't happened yet and he was showing signs of mental exhaustion meaning that while he is amazing, he isn't perfect. Maybe this is one of the better timelines where casualties are minimized and 1610 parker even at his lowest is nothing close to what happened with most other peters

@@lily_flower0686 And this i find extremely stupid. What should Miles do? Kill himself as soon as he was bitten by that alternate reality spider? There is no way he could possibly know about it being radioactive spider, much less that it was from alternate reality AND EVEN MUCH LESS that it would endanger the reality itself. Yet Miguel treats him as if he did it on purpose. Like he killed Peter just to become him. But that is not true. The true culprit was Miles's dimension Kingpin. He brought that spider using his collider. He was the one who started to mess with Alternate Realities. It was he who, albeit indirectly, killed that world's Peter by bringing that spider. TBF, it could literally bit anyone, Miles was just in the wrong place at the worst possible time. Yet Miguel treats him like a shit. I do understand that he was angry, i do understand that he wanted to save people. But the way he chose...

After watching Across the Spider-Verse and remembering this scene you kinda see why Miguel was so pissed with Miles with Peter’s death. Even tho he monitors an entire Multi-Verse him seeing a Spider-Man die must still deeply effect him. This Peter Parker was obviously a phenomenal Spider-Man and was definitely good at what he did so Miguel was likely also planning to recruit him, but then the collider went off and Kingpin killed him. Miguel believes Earth-1610 Peter’s death was all Miles’ fault and if he hadn’t saved him he would’ve survived so him being so mad at Miles in the second movie kinda makes more since now.

I think that my favorite part of all of this, looking back, is the fact that Peter Parker in this opening demonstrates immense pride, some degree of cockiness, as well as that never-say-die spirit. Another thing is that “after everything, I’ll always find a way” resonates kind of different, because Peter Parker may have died, but the spider lives on, and will continue to. It’s a very heartwarming and lovely way to pass a torch to a successor, especially with such a rousing speech at the beginning. That’s the speech of someone who doesn’t think they are going to meet their end anytime soon, and yet in the context of the movie, it works just as well as a symbolic speech about the spider as a whole, not just Peter Parker himself.

Everyone loved this version of Peter, and I think that was also kind of the point of his character. This Peter Parker’s Spider-Man had such a massive legacy and did so much for his city. Meaning Miles had some huge shoes to fill which was the overall premise of Into the Spider-Verse and if Miles could live up to Spider-Man’s name.

A Spider-Man who is happy, has achieved perfect work-life balance and is at top of his game... This is actually refreshing, considering this isn't just an alternate version of a hero, it's another version of our boy Spider-Man... Heck, I don't think this Peter Parker ever even knew or got close to Gwen of this universe. So he has managed to, or just out of luck straight up dodged a few more canon events (*_wink_ _wink_ ) than his other counter-parts, no wonder he's happy.

Well the thing is that in most worlds Gwen Stacy was the first love of Peter’s life, MJ came later in life Gwen was his childhood friend and when MJ came things were conflicted In a way sadly Gwen had to die for Spidey to end up with MJ But it is likely she wasn’t this close in this universe, however if it is a canon event for Captain Stacy or someone in his position to die, to save a child’s life, then who knows really Still it seemed this Spider-Man, regardless of whatever losses he went through, was grounded enough to keep trying until the end Few Spider-Men have achieved such stability, let alone a happy ending as he did, which makes his loss so sad

So in 1:12 I always wonder what happened to him here till I remember into the spider scrapped storyboard which the original director of this film a lot of his comic book elements was use in this film still but that part I time stamp. He made 3 trailers base on his rigibal scrapped story board of into the Spider-verse you could find. And that exact scene is when that Peter Parker supposed to get killed into a skeleton it was pretty sad dead to go. And would responsible for all other spider-man showing up look it up. Fun fact even the opening of this when Peter Parker was looking at the mirror a few seconds shows the original art style of the film looking some dark paint comic look originally. Let say Netflix the witness the character model there is base off how peni Parker originally going to look like sad and depressed look
