46 low…….. we shall see this young man likely for years to come in his pursuit of 43 cause that’s always the goal of any 1/4 miler

Just to put things into perspective...a 47 second 400m is very fast...but the guy Matthew Boling ran down on the anchor leg in the 4 x 400m at the Texas state championships also ran a 47 second anchor leg while Boling ran a 44 second anchor leg.

How can these kids be this fast. I remember when I ran the 400m back in the 90's and I ran 50.1 sec for my best and I was flying. I would be embarrassed by these kids. I would probably end up quitting racing if I ran against these kids.

I had the kids in lane 6 and 7 both at about 22.3 for the first 200 meters.
