Military parade marks North Korea’s 73rd anniversary with slimmer Kim stealing the spotlight

North Korea celebrated the 73rd anniversary of its foundation with a nighttime parade in the capital, Pyongyang, state media reported on September 9, 2021. Supreme leader Kim Jong-un attended the event, drawing attention because of his apparently slimmed down figure. Footage of the event shows people in the parade dressed in orange hazmat suits with face shields and respirators. Also on show were troops holding rifles, and some conventional military equipment, including multiple rocket launchers and tractors carrying anti-tank missiles, but no images of ballistic missiles appear in the state media reports.

@@ViRrOorR even from Chinese point of view, there is non sense for North Korea to make so many parade per year, for what? except nuclear weapons, all other equipment are 70s standard, in China, they organize parade only once or twice, they need 5 or 10 ans to develop new chocking weapon to demonstrate, it is possible to do it every year too costly, but for a country like North Korea, except military parade they have no other achievement and other pride,
