My boyfriend is a SSG in the Army and has served 3 tours in afgh and his 3rd tour his humvee was hit by an ied. So matter what he goes through i am always there to help him. I support everyone in the military with all of my heart thank you all for serving and everything you do.

@DanEssexH The difference there is that the soldiers of WWI AND WWII had no choice in whether they fought or not, and the original slogan that came with the poppy appeal was "never again". So to put the soldiers of that era in the same boat as the soldiers that fight today is wrong.

@omnisearch ok fair point, but still he is fighting for what queen and country, and we arent exactly fighting in afghanistan, what we are actually doing is training the afghani's to defend theirselves. and they did have a choice, everyone has a choice in life
