ya thats pointless. needs to be hotter then. ive got a heated vest and it works but not well. they keep braking on me, and fit to tight. you need to have loose fitting clothing to keep the heat in, not the other way around

@clamojoat1938 that's not how insulation works. Heat element needs to be pressed close to the body. Outer layer needs to fit loose to create an air barrier to the outside elements.

@@clamojoat1938 half a work day maybe a little more on full tilt with a 6ah. I've since picked up a new one. The zipper quit zipping on the old one. New on is a little different design but I'm going to assume it'll use the same amount of battery. So far so good though only 2 mo in

@@kswis keep the old one and take to a seamstress/dry cleaners. They typically replace the zipper piece for $15

I wear it with tool pouches and don’t have a problem. I bought my hoodie for $99 with any batteries. I went on Amazon and bought two 3.0ah knockoff batteries on Amazon for $20 dollars and a knockoff usb charger. I figure I can buy several of the cheap batteries for the price of the one genuine battery. I like it so far.

I had a ventus heated hoodie. Works great even in 15 degree F. But you need a thin wind breaker or rain coat to keep the wind out... Then they are amazing... Sitting inside my literally freezing car I would not get cold at all the heat up in literally less than 10 seconds

Whats your 2 cooler setting like mine are useless don't know if there's a fault with the jacket or not same with the pockets

@ktys206 tuffshell has pocket front chest and back. I just usually turn both on max for 2hr then 1.5 batteries die lol. I haven't used the low or medium settings. I haven't had issue yet myself. I'm sure it's hit miss like alot.

@Fossillarson cheers man. Think mine is one of the miss ones we are -2 where we are and the hot setting does its job no problem I did expect more heat to come from it tho. Think I'll need to get a spare battery just to keep me on the warm side.

Thanks for the comment. This is super good to know because I've not reviewed the DeWalt heated hoodie or jacket yet. I did discover afterwards you can move the M12 towards the front of the hoodie and that is much more comfortable, and I really like this Milwaukee.

It takes a moment to transfer the heat on the low settings unless you have a few layers on underneath, otherwise you should feel it. Thanks for the comment!
