I review the new M12 right angle impact driver, model 2467-20 (tool only) and 2467-21 (1 battery kit).
Thanks to Home Depot and Milwaukee for providing a review sample in exchange for my honest, unfiltered feedback.

I’m so happy I watched this video tonight because on my m12 angled impact driver I just realized that black non-marring boot was missing from the tool last weekend I was putting my m12 and m18 in my new Dewalt tough system 2 boxes and when I got done I found the non marring boot on the floor but I didn’t know what it was. So I put it In toolbox tray. Because of your presentation I realized what it was for. Thank you 🙏

I really like that it holds the short bits properly. I have a Makita regular impact driver that I love, but it does not hold short bits securely, so you have to either use long bits or a bit holder. I have one on order, I don't know how many times I have needed one, so when my favourite dealer got a Milwuakee campaign I pulled the trigger on one of these.

Where can I find a 1/4" hex quick change adapter to 1/4" square drive that is short enough to use with my M12 angle impact that won't fall out of the tool? I found a 1" bit tip adapter made to fit in a quick change bit holder/extension, but it's not long enough to engage with the magnet or the locking mechanism on the tool. Ive tried HomeDepot, Lowe's, eBay and Google without success. Something like a 1/4" quick change "stubby" drill bit but with a 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" square drive for sockets at the output end.

Even if you only use this tool a dozen times a year, it’s good to just have something like this to get the job done quick and properly. Without it you will waste time and go crazy trying to figure out how you’re going to get the job done. At $99 it’s still a good purchase to make.

Do you recommend M12 over M18 for this tool? I own both platforms.
@DoresoomReviews
@DoresoomReviews 5 жыл бұрын
I only use the M12 version anymore. It's more compact and has 90% of the torque that the M18 version has anyway.

I just received my new one. When I have Ann impact bit in the collet, it is freely moving around. The bits can pull in and out bout 3/8” lie nothing is holding them in place. Is this normal? My ridgid stuff presses a spring in there so the bit is nice and tight against the retention bearing. Going to my Home Depot tomorrow to check out another one.

Great review, I have the m18 which I got as soon as it came out and wish I had waited for the m12 for obvious size reasons. I turned the head on the m18 90 degrees so the battery is less in the way, but now the led is aimed the wrong way. the m12 is definitely the more ideal tool for the specific task of driving fasteners in tight spaces. With that said, the m18 has the same head dimensions, and with the ability to rotate the head, I doubt the battery is ever going to prevent me from getting the job done - it hasn't so far.

Thanks! I'm in the same boat with you there, with wishing I had held out for the M12 version. The thing I dislike most about the M18 version is that the LED doesn't rotate with the head.

That's a neat trick. I've had the M18 for 3 years and the almost identical Makita for 10 years. I never even thought about rotating it.😮

@@jordonminville6094 That's a great price for all those tools - I don't think you'll find a better deal than that. They are all brushed and most are several generations old though. If you're looking for light duty those will do the trick, but they won't be up for demanding high torque applications.

Any big issues yet ? I have an M12 reg impact, angle 3/8 drill and that useless Dremel wanna-B. Nothing but problems
@DoresoomReviews
@DoresoomReviews 8 жыл бұрын
No problems with it yet. I'd say it's only gotten light use so far, since it only comes out when I can't fit my regular M12 FUEL impact into a tight space. I've had that one for 3+ years with lots of use and no problems.

Drilling holes in wood? wha? I thought it was an impact ratchet wrench, is it not? You're using it as an angle drill.
@DoresoomReviews
@DoresoomReviews 7 жыл бұрын
Yes, it's an impact driver with a 1/4" hex drive, so its primary use is going to be driving screws or drilling holes. The drill bit I was using is an impact-rated bit specifically made for use with impact drivers. If you're interested in using the tool for automotive work, Milwaukee actually makes an M12 ratchet (model 2457‑20) with a 3/8" square anvil that won't require an adapter to use with sockets. They also just announced a line of M12 FUEL ratchets that will be coming out later this year.

Yes the impacts are more for auto repair nuts and bolts etc. cordless drill s are for carpenter wood workers. I use these every day working on engines tires at a etc. too expensive to use for just a screw gun.

If you're looking at using this for primarily automotive work, then you've got the wrong tool. This is mostly for screws, since it has a 1/4" hex collet. You probably want the M12 right angle impact WRENCH instead: www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Fastening/Impact-Wrenches/2564-20
