I have two questions. I just picked one of these up. Does yours have a sound like a bearing is loose if you move around in just the right way while it is off. Second once you shut it off does yours have a sound like something is still spinning inside. Just wanted to know if these two things are normal?

Okay I had the same issue. It’s the bearing spinning because it stops on a dime. Meaning it’s not an issue. I read your comment before I bought it and I landed back on this video again ha. I’m assuming anyways.. it made me trip out untill I found another video review explaining it and I watched it closely and sure enough it was the bearing on the bit.

@@marky5071 Thanks for that, man! I was freaking out, because I just bought a brand new one of those and there was this whining, spinning sound - for about 6-7 seconds after shutdown. I thought that there was something loose in a bearing inside or in the motor itself. Luckily - you were right - it was the bearing of the router bit keeps spinning after the stop on a dime shutdown...You touch it - the sound stops...:)

Hand held= Left to right outside, right to left inside, that's what I have always been taught, even has and arrow on it showing it... There are no videos showing the plunge base in action, hope you do one, I really don't want to get into video making.. (with a 5ah battery included at HD right now for $179 no charger)

Question makes no sense to me, its attached with 4 screws.

@@suzesiviter6083 yes it's attached with 4 screws but they have a little play in them. Haven't you seen the centering cones that they sell?

@@DjLooN No I havent, though now you mention cones, I can visualise how that would work, thanks, ignored for 2 years because people thought it was a crazy question, but its not at all.

I believe you are asking because of guide bushings? I was wondering if there is a way to use them on this machine.
