Good review, thank you. It has helped me decide to go for the Fuel. I think the extra cost is justified mainly for the reduced vibration as using them for long periods your hands get battered and vibration can lead to long term issues. Regarding that nut for the depth stop, I think i'll just glue it in to prevent the inevitable ! Chris. UK.

I can’t even believe they didn’t address the issue with the speed selection being accidentally moved. I can’t STAND it on the old one, somehow I never have an issue with the m12, I’m really sad it is even worse on this one. That’s a definite dealbreaker for me by the way I naturally hold the tool. I might just put it in A mode and put some tape on it😂

I pretty much leave it in A mode myself, and it's less likely to get moved there too, since it can only go one direction from that point.

do you think the new M12 Oscillating tool has more power than the old M18?

I don't know - I haven't tried the new M12 FUEL. I think it speaks volumes that Milwaukee sent the M12 version to an 18V OMT head to head though: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h7aVhrOasrK3o5s.html
@mendoafgoo420 Жыл бұрын
M18 fuel is brighter, less vibration and more powerful with longer run times, the m12 is more compact that’s about it. I never hold my multi tool in a way that would accidentally hit the speed selector dial so that doesn’t make sense to me as a flaw and I think the people that do that are not using the tool properly or holding it improperly. Hope that helps

I’m confused what’s the difference between 2836-20 & 2836-21?
@DoresoomReviews2 жыл бұрын
-20 is bare tool, -21 is a one-battery kit. Milwaukee uses the ####-2# convention for all their power tools, with the first four digits designating the tool, and the last digit being 0, 1, or 2, which corresponds to the number of batteries that come with it.

The screw that holds the blade in can come out and become lost (happened to my boss with his) and makes it a deal breaker for me, I think when they updated it they should have gone to starlock. Until Milwaukee updates to starlock I’ll stick with the Flex, otherwise it looks great

I just saw project farm's latest video on multitools and the Flex is a great alternative to the M18 Fuel. It cuts almost ss fast, has the best features, best LED, competitive price and the starlock blade system. It's just a bit heavier, though.
