Thanks for the review. I never would have thought of using a scuffle hoe to get up the overlapping grass that you cut off the edge. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess 2 жыл бұрын
No problem. Yeah that scuffle hoe is the perfect tool for that job. It slides underneath the overgrowth, while it simultaneously also cuts any trouble areas along the edge. Then flip it upside down to act like a rake to move debris out of the way. Thanks for watching.

Just got this special buy combo kit trimmer edger blower battery charger. Trimmer and edger are so easy and quiet and work great. Used one bar on the battery for my yard trimming and edging. The blower is ok for grass clippings but weak for clearing edging mess. I basically got the blower free in the combo kit. Maybe it will be a good camp fire stoker.

Spot on the blower is for light work, buy a gas powered redmax or stihl, echo blower for the heavy duty yard-work.

Try it on a curved sidewalk. Straight lines are easy with it, but you need to show us what it can do with sidewalks that have almost 100 degree angles. Specifically the curved part.

Seems as though you could flip the trimmer sideways and edge that sidewalk alil quicker.. but I'm not there I can't really see how thick it is.. just picked up the trimmer at the flea market for 80 beans.. out of box, no strap or battery.. LOVIN IT. Chainsaw & hedge trimmer next. Hopefully a blower attachment comes out.. 👊😎⚡️

String trimmer won’t leave that defined edge when establishing a new edge. I always use a blade edger to cut the new edge then maintain it weekly with the string. Thanks for watching.

The strata across the street has a lawn care company show up every week. A small army of workers show up and they don't even edge anywhere. All there machines are super noisy and annoying. They don't even notice dry grass from sprinkler not working.

What's going on Julio. From 1 to 10 how would you rate this Milwaukee edger and how would you rate the Echo 2620 edger from 1 to 10?
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess 2 жыл бұрын
I’d say the Echo is a 9 and this Milwaukee would be 7 or 8. The echo being gas is more powerful but with that being said the Milwaukee has had more then enough power for any of the new edges I’ve cut. If your cutting a new overgrown edge it will use more battery then if your just doing say weekly maintenance over a already cut edge. So if your doing lots of overgrown edges you will either need more batteries in case or better to use gas. For me where I’m cutting just an occasional new overgrown edge or taking it out to redo already previously cut edges then it’s fine all day on a single 9.0 battery. Thanks for watching

its just a weeder tool to cut down weeds you could just use a square nose shovel regular or narrow ones and when you get a pile of dirt/grass you could shovel it directly into a trash can or drop cloth and carry it away

Mine will overheat and stop after 10 minutes. A new battery will get it going for a short while but then it stops. The motor itself is overheated but it doesn't feel hot
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess 2 жыл бұрын
Interesting. I have heard others say that. Mine has not done that ever though. Sounds like thermal shutoff protection to protect batteries. I’m in a mild climate here in the pacific north west and all my properties are mostly small so maybe that has something to do with me not experiencing any overheat shutdowns. Thanks for watching.

@LawnCareBusinessSuccess
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess Жыл бұрын
I can’t remember exactly. I know I was initially worried about it and so waited to do that job at the end of the day once I had all the other scheduled lawns done. It surprised me though and didn’t actually eat up as much battery as I would have thought. I’ve since used it many times now with no issues or worries about battery. The Milwaukee stuff is actually quite impressive for how efficient it is. Thanks for watching.

I have a Ryobi 18v dedicated edger [not quick-lock] and the blade spins "counter clockwise"....so if a user is not careful the unit kicks backwards towards the user and could posssibly injur cut the foot of the operator if not carefull....the milwaukee turns clockwise so tool pulls away[forward of the operator] where there is no danger.

I disagree. When I first got it I was only really using it for hedge trimming and I loved it so much I stopped using all my gas hedge trimmers. This year I decided to try using the first gen string trimmer I have plus the quick lok for edging. I think it’s great and I’ve been using it the past 2 months now almost every day except for rainy days. For weekly maintenance it has more then enough power and I can get through the entire day on two 9.0 batteries for the string trimmer. With the blower I use a 12.0 battery and again can get through the day with power to spare. The blower is not as powerful as a gas blower but for weekly maintenance it does the job fine. My only real problem with them is that they are not rated for using in the rain. Thanks for watching.

@@LawnCareBusinessSuccess That is really good. I want it desperately for it to work for my company. It had plenty of power however I was able to drain a 8ah in about 40 minutes on economy mode. Another guy ran down a 4.0 battery in about 12 minutes not sure which mode. No lie the head of the trimmer broke at the end of the first day the plastic tabs snapped off. I am a huge Milwaukee fan have more tools and batteries than I am willing to admit and really am tired of gas trust me just today a carburetor started to mess up but this one was a miss for me.

The trimmer head I replaced on mine with an echo speed feed 400. That is the best trimmer head on the market no question. You also have to make sure to be using only high demand or high output batteries with the yard tools.
