Whoa bro. This is a game changer! I was looking to buy the m18 saw and I’m SO glad I waited. I am super excited to see what else will be in the mx fuel line. I am glad to see them focusing on my industry because I’ve been waiting. Still waiting on a jackhammer and a cordless concrete vibrator!! Fantastic!!

what would be your guess on pricing for this bad boy ? 🤔
@Zee20Ate
@Zee20Ate 4 жыл бұрын
kingofthecrease30 that’s a great question. It’s hard to say as we really have nothing to compare to. If I had to guess I’d have to assume $1600-$1800 for the saw. The m18 kit is around $900. $1200-$1500 would be a fair price. As far as the breaker hammer, hilti electric breakers range from $3k-$4k. So I’d really like to see the MXFUEL breaker at least close to that cost.

I’m afraid the pricing might be a disappointment. I really hope they can stay within reason.

Just to clarify I own Milwaukee, makita and dewalt tools. I am not a brand loyal guy, I love them all for certain things. With that said, Milwaukee is doing it right! All those tools you just listed have a justification for a new battery line. Makita on the other hand went backwards with their 40v that is not compatible with their 18v. And all they are offering is tools we already own, with “more” power. At least flex volt is backwards compatible! Super excited about these new tools Milwaukee has to offer! That’s my internet rant for the day. :) thanks for the video!

Here's my issue and I actually bought quite a few new Milwaukee Tools here recently typically use DeWalt. But my father's company does as well. And I was tired of having people mistakenly take tools that look somewhat alike. So far I can say I've been please. That being said I cannot stand it when companies and I was hoping that Milwaukee would be better than this. To these time trials. And they literally intentionally slowly start the gas powered tool or whatever they're going against. Then they start talking about things that most people don't do winterizing your wet saw. Most of the time people that have that kind of stuff own a building to put them in during the winter and most of the time rebuilding heated as well. And that's just a small gripe. Here's the big one. You cannot start singing the Praises of your tool that you have barely done any kind of stressed test on. And they may say they've done a stress test. You and I both know there's a big difference between being out in the field using a tool in the real world. And then being inside and having machine run it until it dies. He was talking about you know it's expensive to have to replace carburetors Etc. Well if you take good care of your tools to begin with I shouldn't be an issue. But when time does wear down. Because there's more of that out there it's going to be cheaper to fix. Again show me the stress test the real world numbers. Not some dog and pony show that they bring in people that like Milwaukee to go look at that. Don't get me wrong I hope it does great and I hope that it does everything they say it will but unfortunately... Pride goeth before the fall. Besides that I enjoy your guys's Channel you're one of the reasons why I actually started using Milwaukee Tools. When I was looking for something different. Keep up the good
@OrangeCheekun
@OrangeCheekun 2 жыл бұрын
Damn, I love milwaukee tools but am also not a fan boy and use Dewalt, etc. You got it spot on. Its a show for a reason, they're gonna buy the shittest gas tool to compare to their jacked up, brand new line, and you can tell its for the fan boys of this brand. That being said I've used a variety of these same tools on work sites and projects and these new MX Fuel seem to just kick ass. Haven't used them personally, I will say that, but that jackhammer test really blew me away once the Milwaukee started blowing through the concrete in a few seconds. Turns a labor intensive, time consuming job into a couple minutes of light work letting the tool control and drive itself, provided proper use, care of tool and what the job is. You can't argue with increased performance if they really do the job more efficiently. I'm sure there's alternatives out there, as there is for everything, but milwaukee seems to exceeds the basics of most tools on a consistent basis. Each manufacturer and tool is different though, and shine at different things. I knew dudes in the field who were running battery adapters on their Ryobis, Dewalt, Etc and using milwaukee batterys. Me personally I've tried a couple different saws and blades out now, and I've noticed milwaukee blades and saws are kind of shit. Combine a milwaukee tool with a Diablo blade for example though and it excels versus most other tools in my opinion. The trick is just trying out different tools and bits and figuring out what works best for your work style and your personal preferences.

99% of the people here aren't going to buy any of these tools, yet y'all are going nuts over this stuff. The inverter is the only thing that could be mass marketed, but with proprietary batteries that probably cost $350-$600, good luck with that. They should have had an adapter for people who already have a stockpile of M18s

I'm a little skeptical about the Milwaukee breaker and saw cut. The concrete slabs that they were breaking had no rebar in it. When your out in the real world there is alot of different re-inforcement in the concrete. That re-inforcement makes a big difference. Nothing really beats a pneumatic breaker.

I love Milwaukee Tools. I have a large compliment for my personaly/business use, I use them at work, and recently we switched to Milwaukee tools at the Firehouse. We actually just bought the M18 9" Cutoff Saw for our Rescue Operations. It's hard to replace a name brand gas K-12 for everyday use with a Battery powered saw but I can see them taking off in the Fire/Rescue Field because we need the instant go. The 14" Saw is a game changer for us in Public Safety. The only scary part is the price tag. 😥

I am sure the tools will be no problem, not sure how they will handle the power supply. The concrete saw, coredrill, lighting system etc. will only nead a different input voltage for battery charging.... no problem. Yo will need to contact Milwaukee or one of their service dealers to get the answer to this market requirement. Of course, at 240V/50Cycle, they will need a specific inverter..... but the draw in amps is half that than at 120V ....My bet is they engineered a single inverter with an internal 120/240 selection, or electronically controlled. All that need differ are the outlets, if I am correct.

Great start to a lineup that I'm sure is 100 tools long. My only gripe is that they did 3 and 6 amp hour batteries instead of 4 and 8

Likely because they already have a second generation battery planned using 4 and 8 to look like an incremental performance gain. Profit!

This is absolutely brilliant, I'm interested in the corded one though...if they have any. PS: I can't hear anything >> 28:25 >>> I really hope you did tell the guys there that they have to separate the loud showcases from the people who are talking about other stuff.

@VCG Construction I don’t know how anyone could see these demonstrations and not be impressed with what’s being brought to the table. I’ve said before when it comes to the M12 line if my tool platform of choice could copy their Bluetooth speaker their portable bandsaw and their pexgun there would be nothing for me to envy. When it comes to the M 18 line if I could just get a wholehog and blue I’d be happy. VINCE THAT IS SOME NEXT LEVEL POWER RIGHT THERE!!! Nobody comes close.

I love Milwaukee Tools they come out with the smartest stuff then default copy's them then they get it out in 2-3 years later.Also by that time Milwaukee on to next thing. They need to add a corded option to the jack hammer Power pack and Wet saw. What I mean is if the batter is dead you can plug it in.

@VCGConstruction
@VCGConstruction 4 жыл бұрын
Milwaukee's answer was "at this level it's not about voltage we're using a horsepower rating" ! I wouldn't be surprised if the voltage is in the 240 range !

I love Milwaukee and have there 12v stuff but I gotta call this line out. It's ok for casual users. I'm roadworks. Its 2 batteries per tank on the saw. So some days that's upto 10 batteries for cutting blocks all day., The core drill looks good but when my drill makes that crunching sound it's the gears lol and that sounds the same, I doubt that sound is a clutch !. The Jack hammer come on man. The plastic boot thing on the point wouldn't last 1 minute on a site. The concrete is above ground level, a sledge hammer could break that, try breaking it in ground, nothing beats a compressed air red belly gun and after that a 2 stroke. The genny thing Is nothing more than a lithium leisure battery with inverter, u could save massively by buying just that. Don't get me wrong it looks good stuff but definitely not for roadworks yet. Imagine the concrete dust and particles getting into that battery connection over time. And then theres the issue of charging the batteries on a site in the middle of nowhere.

Milwaukee needs to make an electric bike like the radrover with that kind of power. And have an extra mount where you can add a second battery if needed. And swap the battery when one goes dead that way you won't totally run both out at once not knowing.
