I have been witnessing a whole group of these min min lights they go into triangular formations, they are trying tocommunicate with me, but as a follower of Jesus Christ I am weary of them and I feel as if they are trying to get me to go into the scrub. I live in blue mountains Australia. This has been occurring to me for about 4 years non stop every night.

I had an un-reconciled sighting of a light in 2014 when I was headed out west on the Sandover Highway about 125km west from Lake Nash. It was this really bright light out popping up through the Gidgea to the south of the highway - it grew and grew but never got big enough to cast a beam as such. After heaps of thought later on I just guessed it was some sort of mustering station, but for God's sake, there isn't any reason to muster at night time out there (especially in the winter) and there was absolutely no other activity in the region. There had been an oil rig pass thru 12 months earlier, but that was long gone by the time that I was there. Stories like this light up my imagination. I couldn't have seen anything other than the Min Min light.

My grandfather was a drover out at Tottenham back in the 1930s before he went to ww2 . He told me that the min min lights were static electricity caused by the fluctuations of temperature out in western nsw ,I don’t know if he just told me that to put my mind at ease .

They knew of it and told stories of it for thousands of years. And yet billions of us all with cameras can't get definitive proof. Dream time stories are a better method of communications than our social media, they passed loads of knowledge and beliefs in their dreamings. And unlike social media they had time to think before they told stories. They had no reason to lie for popularity or tell stories untrue it was a true knowledge, information superhighway before the internet was invented and it worked better. Part of me feels like we have gotten both better and worse at the ways we go about information sharing, back then you took everything as the truth and I'm sure there was a couple of bullshit stories but they didn't filter down over the years of dreamings as it lost importance throughout the generations, hence self repairing itself with truth over and over again, something the internet doesn't do. You can't pass all you're life on so the important stuff stayed over the years. Makes you wonder about some of the myths like min min, min-na wee, does the devil's pool lure you somehow, is it a plant in the area that makes people lose inhibition or is it magic. Or the Bunyip. Heaps of unfiltered information from thousand of years of knowledge ignored and yet we call ourself "progressive"

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been there a few times & never seen anything. They say these lights have been happening from a long time ago, yet nobody has any footage! Just stories!

Hello, when I was a young girl for many years we traveled from the northern coast through the outback to Mt Isa. I remember being terrified of these lights. They have to this day fascinated me even more so. I'm about to do an interview regarding the Min Min Lights and want to know if anyone really knows what they are...

I definitely seen/experienced one years ago in West Australia - I was driving along a straight road (about 6pm'ish) and i saw what looked to be a very small fire on the side of the road ahead of me. I thought ok maybe someone broke down and start a little fire to cook something or whatever. I slowed down and approached slowly, but this stayed at the same distance ahead of me. I continued driving but i wasn't getting any closer to it. This went on for about at least 20 minutes. I even stopped got out of the ute and was left scratching my head. What the hell is going on!!?? Got back in continue driving another 10 minutes or so, and then another vehicle came from opposite direction and then the show was over.

Hey Boulia, just a thought to myself, since you kinda close to channel country, when all that's left is 1000s of small water holes, could there be a chance of the moon in the distance with the earth being circle and all cause reflecting off them dam's to look like a spotlight or random light that appears and disappears like a disco ball, but you just have to be in the right place at the right time?? Food for thought..

Do min min lights ever appear as ball of fire ? . One I saw acted like your description it approached me then floated away I followed it and it disappeared but it was definitely ball of fire not a light .
@Mortthemoose
