I think the reason why fall damage didn’t activate the sensor was because it was considered player landing on the ground and not the player taking damage.

Bees used to be something optional in the game now they are very important to obtain wax is literally used on everything now and I really expect them to even add more uses for it now, and I don't really know how to feel about this

I think the idea of archeology and armor trims is a very interesting one. Being able to decorate my armor and my base with pottery I’ve gathered is a very fun idea. I also think it has a lot of more room to grow. They could add more places for suspicious blocks to spawn and add more interesting things to find with future updates. Honestly I hope we get more things like this, objects that are purely decorative as a reward for exploration. Little trinkets you can put on your mantelpiece from all your adventures.

Not having to break the sign is amazing but as soon as I heard it I was just like "Ah.....yeah this should have been in the game 8 years ago" Yet, better late than never I guess! As for the armor trims, really glad I didn't take the time to explore them previously because I knew they would change them more and more. First thing I'm doing when 1.20 is out is finding my favorite armor trim combo and then going into my survival world and finding the right pieces

I think at 12:10 The sound of you "landing" (some kind of motion vibration) is emitted from the player just before the sound of you snapping your legs. But the 2 sounds are so close in time to each other that the sensor can only detect the first sound; you landing on the block. This might be why it wasn't detecting the player damage sound.

At 12:00 I think it's mob sounds. It reacted to the cow mooing a few seconds later and like reacted to the cow mooing when spawned rather than taking damage.

The skulk is starting to evolve It has begun using amethyst that it happens to grow near to communicate with others of its kind. I have seen instances where one skulk sensor will use amethyst to alert others that I was nearby, as I disturbed the terrain. They appear to almost grapple onto the amethyst, and ring a sound through it. I have no idea how it does this. On another note, I decided to take one back to my lab. I figured if the skulk can communicate with each other through amethyst, what if I were to augment amethyst into the sensor itself? It was a tedious process, however when I had completed it, it seemed to act differently than what I had hypothesized. It did not resonate signals to others of its species, and in fact seemed to be unaware of their existence. I thought about how skull sensors generally respond with redstone contraptions, and how maybe something has changed. I linked it to the same comparator I had once used to test the default behaviors of the skulk, and yet nothing happened. Nothing changed. I was about to simply dispose of it, seeing no point in letting continue to exist in what appears to be a harmful and suffering state, when it suddenly grabbed my arm. Dropping it, I was almost too panicked to notice it had been hurt. I went to retrieve it and check if it was ok, when I noticed that the amethyst had appeared to spread along the sensor. It almost looked like a redstone wire, but made of the purple crystal. I thought to hook it up to redstone, wondering as to what it cpuld possibly need it for. Energy? Sustenance? Reproduction? And yet, none of these were conclusively answered. Instead, when hooked up to a power source and comparator, I noticed a peculiar change in behavior. It had stopped going off from me walking around, not a single click or trill I could hear. It wouldn't respond to anything. Opening chests, dropping items, my own voice in various tones from happy grunts to yelps of pain, to playong music. Nothing. Until one night, I was running low on gunpowder. I was hunting creepers left and right, wishing to restore my supplies, when one of them started charging my base rather than myself. I couldn't stop it in time, and it blew a hole in the lab. And that's when I heard it. In the deafening cacophony of the explosion, I heard a trill. A familiar one at that. The skulk hadn't died at all! Knowing I had not accidentily killed another test subject, I began studying various conditions to trigger the skulk again. I eventually came to the conclusion that the actual source of the redstone's charge changed how the sensor reacted. Hours of work later, and I have a fully charted list pf behaviors that this odd skulk sensor could listen to. During my studies, I had noticed it became almost attuned to the amethyst crystal growing on it, using it like a radio antenna to hear specific frequences, using the redstone to tell it which ones to listen to. Thus, I have dubbed the name "Radio Skulk Sensor" to be the name for this peculiar man-made variant. I shall continue my research into augmenting skulk with various resources, as well as other skulk behaviors as they continue to evolve as a species.

So far I've noticed that they most commonly generate in Taigas and Jungles.

Calibrated skulks seem so useful!

The new Shulk sensor changes the game. The trail ruins is very lack lustre though for a something dubbed a structure. This is just a snapshot of possibly many though.

The trail ruins look very disappointing. It's just a blob of random blocks. Also the additional junk in the suspicious blocks is a big let-down. Though it's not as hard to tweak a loot table as it is to change structures.

so they add wireless rs level with the resonance which can massively help rs contraptions to remove some wiring bulk now is there a way to change frequencies so certain shulk get hit and other dont maybe different gem or crystal blocks change frequencies or that new sulk craft does that exactly huh that pretty cool wireless rs is now non modded you have 16 frequencies even if you cant easily get some thatis multiple different contraption you can set off different from one place i cant wait till all the new design using it hopefully lol

Bedrock related: Last week, like a week ago or so, the brush was not doing anything. I went through 10 suspicious sand, and there wasn't any gravel, like at all, even the normal gravel was gone. Not to freak anyone out because this was on the bedrock updated version on the Nintendo Switch, and I didn't have time to report the issue. Hopefully now or soon they'll fix it. When the brush showed up, it was out of the blue, lol, no one on youtube posted anything yet, that's how soon it was for me 😂 When they trust you this much to let them know of any issues and I didn't have time, my bad. Oh, also, signs on...... shulker boxes will not break say if you place the box sideways and the sign on that side. My kids were like, wait a minute, "what magic are you doing?"🤣 One glitch I hope can be fixed is when you crouch and try to add a trap door leveled with another next to it, it will not happen. This bothered me while I was trying to add a basic oak trap door patio roof. I have to have blocks underneath now to place each and every trap door on top of it. Annoying and time consuming 😒
